  1. 4.5 Comerica Park (2.707 reviews)
    - Fabulous Place to See a Game!
    Arenas & Stadiums
    Comerica Park image
Home of the Detroit Tigers, this is no ordinary ballpark. Combination theme park, ballpark, and baseball museum, it features huge statues of tigers, a Ferris wheel, carousel (with tigers, of course) and a fountain that celebrates each home run with colored lights and music. See more..
  2. 4.5 Ford Field (866 reviews)
    - FIRST TIME FUN!!!!
    Arenas & Stadiums
    Ford Field image
I had never been to an NFL game until my daughter and beau planned this one. What a way to be introduced ....especially in an ENCLOSED stadium!!!! Terrific views from any level and no "nose-bleed" sections. Great to be in a city with rabid fans but I just found the seats a bit small and the beer excessively expensive .....just like all sports stadia (stadiums) which gouge the fans unnecessarily. 3. 4.5 Michigan Stadium (766 reviews)
    - Iconic Stadium
    Arenas & Stadiums
    Michigan Stadium image
This is one of the best places to see a college football game. The walk to the Stadium is alone almost worth the price of admission. It primarily has bleacher seating, and the food and beverage options are pretty limited. But it gets loud and the atmosphere can be absolutely electric, never more so than after today’s Michigan upset of Ohio State. Hail! See more..
  4. 4.0 Little Caesars Arena (476 reviews)
    - LCA Continues to Impress!
Spent 2-3 hours Arenas & Stadiums
    Little Caesars Arena image
I've attended Piston and Red Wing events here and have been impressed with the ease of access, security, event staff etc. Everyone has been helpful and happy. The pregame and half time entertainment at the Pistons game has been excellent. I have only done the Gondola seating and highly recommend it if you are not scared of heights. Just make sure you sit in row 1 of not row 2. Row 1 is right on the glass to view down. Row 2 are high top seats which are more comfortable but if someone is in row 1 in front of you you will have an obstructed view. Food and beverage choices are vast but expensive. Bathrooms are abundant and clean. I suggest pre-booking parking to save because it can get pricey the closer you park to the LCA. Free Xfinity WiFi (just enter a bogus email). I have and will return. - Now called Jackson Field
    Arenas & Stadiums
    Cooley Law School Stadium image
Lansing has never been a favorite city of mine, but being a big baseball fan I had to see a Lugnuts game. The park is a little better than your average A ball stadium. They have a small area with a Michigan Baseball Hall of Fame which is cool. No netting either, another plus. The foul poles are very short, only around 305 feet. Maybe I’ll go again next year. 9. 4.5 Jimmy John's Field (76 reviews)
    - Fun, Very Nice Field

    Jimmy John's Field image
I have been at many minor league stadiums, but this is my first time at Jimmy John Field in Utica. We were in Detroit and the Tigers were out of town so we took a drive up to Utica and saw the Westside Woolly Mammoths play the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers. Very good talent for a Instrumental league and the stadium provided lots of fun and food. All very nice and enjoyable. We sat in the Front Row Club seats and they were very comfortable and provided a great view of the field. Glad me made the trip. See more..

    USA Hockey Arena image
World class skilled hockey by 16 & 17 year olds. The absolute best of the best. Watch the next wave of NHL stars for just a few bucks & you can see them compete against players at the college & minor league level (usually 2-6 years older) and usually beat them. OLYMPIC development team. Awesome players & you can get a beer as you try to id all the NHL scouts in the stands. And the restaurant (CJ’s) is great. Great food & Mike the bartender is incredible! 17. 4.5 Dort Federal Event Center (11 reviews)
    - Not a bad view in the house
    Arenas & Stadiums
    Dort Federal Event Center image
I enjoyed a Firebirds hockey game with my brother here. One level seating with not a bad seat in the house. Overpriced concessions and under quality taste. Beer prices are decent. They have a gift shop that is extremely overpriced for the merchandise. VUP parking is available in the rear of the building for $5. The venue was clean along with the restrooms. Staff was friendly and armed security was plentiful making you feel safe (even though entry did not require a search or metal detectors). Good team with nice entertainment between periods. I would definitely return for a game but eat somewhere else prior or after. See more..

    - Open Skate Family Fun
Spent 2-3 hours Arenas & Stadiums • Convention Centers
    Wexford Civic Center image
We discovered that the Wex had open skate from 2 to 4. It cost $3 per person for 2 hours of skating and rental skates included. There was a concession stand with fairly priced foods. Inside the rink there was a decent crowd. The Wex provided buckets for those who are learning to skate. It was plenty of fun for the family and spent the whole 2 hours there. See more..
