St Clair Green Giants vs Saginaw Sugar Beets
On the CMU campus Theunissen Stadium is where we came to watch our grandson play for the Giants beating the Sugar Beets of Saginaw. The stadium is very nice and clean. The Sugar Beets fans are amazing and cordial. We came all the way from California for this series and they were welcoming and gracious. The stadium Is home to the Central Michigan Chippewas baseball team of the NCAA Division I Mid-American Conference. The venue has a capacity of 2,046 spectators and opened in 2002. It is named after Bill Theunissen, former Central Michigan baseball coach, who led the Chippewas to a 151-114-1 record during his tenure (1953–1962).[1]

    Nice ball park
Attended a baseball tournament over the weekend, This is a nice little park to watch a game at. The playing surface could use a little work but not too bad considering it was middle of summer so expected it to be beat up a little bit.
