We saw an article about this event and decided to give it a shot. It was a chilly Friday night (25 degrees), but spirits were high. It's a bit off the beaten path. Once you exit Rt. 94. You feel like you are a bit lost in the woods. We arrived and found a pretty significant group of hikers and nature lovers. Everyone was really laid back, easy going, friendly and engaging. I’ve wanted to come here for awhile now and finally went. I could’ve walked around both museum and the shop all day finding different things. Todd was super knowledgeable and made us feel welcomed from the second we came in. There are handmade items in the shop that are so unique you’ll want to bring them all home. The museum was amazing, so many artifacts and interesting memorabilia, it’s definitely a must see if you’re in the area, or if you’re like me take a drive to come see even if it’s an hour away.
