A fun small town museum and learning center
Cognition is a fun and engaging experience for families with kids of all ages. You’ll enjoy everything they have on display as well as the interactive exhibits and activities. Highly recommend!

Plenty to keep younger kids busy for hours
We were surprised to see how many activities there were inside this not very large building. Our granddaughter loved every second here, and after being there for over four hours, she didn't want to leave at closing time. She held several animals including a hedgehog, a large snake, guinea pigs, and a turtle, but the one thing she was most excited about was the Virtual Reality Experience. The person in charge of running it was so patient and he had a wealth of information that turned it into a real learning experience for our six year old granddaughter. After awhile he wanted to take a break but when he came back a few kids who had been in there playing all day went in to use it again and we didn't want to ask him to re-clean the whole system so that she could have another chance to use it. With covid still lingering around, probably the only negative thing in coming here is that so many kids are touching all the stuff and we had to keep asking our granddaughter to wash her hands and be sure not to touch her face. There was also a small outside musical instrument garden, but everything else is inside. Everyone who worked here was kind and patient, and we are still amazed at how much fun she had the whole time she was at Cognition.
