    Northville Downs is a great place. But I heard the last time I was there they may be closing in November. No plans have been made for a new place for horse racing in Michigan. I went on friday which was dollar night. It was fun to watch the horses run. It was also fun to bet too. However the interior was old and beat up. It would not surprise me if they closed down since no renovations are being made. The carpet is 1970 royal blue and badly needs to be vacuumed and tables wiped. Overall the whole place needs to be cleaned but if it closes in november all of this makes perfect sense. It was said a new place would be found but as of now- nothing. this is why I believe when this place closes that will be it. New homes, restaurants and business will occupy the space. They will cost some big bucks too. All perfectly understandable too. I go because I want to say I went to the last race track in the metro area. See more..
