Great cider and lunch

Virtue Cider makes proper cider like wine using traditional and sustainable methods on our 48 acre farm in Fennville, Michigan. We purchase our fruit from local farmers and press, ferment and barrel age our ciders on our solar powered farm. Sample our ciders straight from the source, take some cider home with you, walk our trails, visit our heritage breed animals and have a farm to table lunch and listen to the birds singing in the trees. Family and pet friendly, great for groups and events! Get out of the city and back to nature at Virtue Farm.

    Beautiful Venue with delicious drinks
Beautiful venue with wide open backyard and plenty of outdoor seating. Definitely recommend making a reservation as it is a popular choice for bachelorette parties, birthdays etc given picturesque venue. More upscale than some of the other local cider / wineries. During COVID they limit you to 90 minutes which is fair. Service was quick, you order from the app but they also have outdoor bar areas for human interaction. It was hot out when we went so we were grateful for the shaded umbrellas and froze (although they ran out.. but we did go on a busy weekend). We got the cider flights which had unique flavors - our favorite was blueberry, and bourbon cider. Also had hidden hiking trails (PS: There is poison ivy so be careful) where you can see farm animals: pigs and ducks. Have a small area to pick flowers and more outdoor seating without umbrellas . On the pricey side: flights were $18 but given the atmosphere and scenery it was worth it. the Saturday we went they also had a band playing. Did have food on site but we did not try. Ps: you can bring your dog. they will give you a water bowl.

    Great cider and lunch
We sat at one of the outdoor tables on a sunny day (July 20) and first enjoyed a tasting of their interesting session ciders, then ordered lunch. Awesome grilled cheese with prosciutto and gazpacho. Service was quick and efficient - they are doing all ordering via QR codes on the tables and then staff bring the cider and food to your table. None of the buildings are open to the public yet. It was easy to order and staff are available and happy to answer questions. Families and couples there - there are corn hole games to play and you can walk around the farm. We finished off by getting several bottles of cider to take home. Great stop!
