Great day on the water.
Captain Matt is a great guide and will teach you alot about fishing the great lakes. He knows what he is doing and will show you how why and where to fish. If I was a fisherman just starting out I would book Capt Matt and ask him to just teach me the ins and outs of fishing Lake St Clair. The price you pay will change the way you fish and make a you a better fisherman for years to come. Always a fun trip with lots of laughs.

Awesome Guide!
Matt is a very knowledgeable when it comes to all sorts of fishing. He is extremely friendly and kind. This was our third year fishing with him and we plan on doing more trips in the future. He has all the top of the line equipment to help you catch that fish of a lifetime. He really goes out of his way to get you into fish. His boat is super clean and organized. You have plenty of room to fish comfortably. If you are looking for a trip Matt is your guide. He is also has a great relationship with almost all the other guides and fisherman up there on that lake. We always order two boats for casting and he will supply us with another guide and they have all been awesome. We will be doing this a ton more in the future.

I have fished with several musky guides over the years. Following are some of the most important traits of a guide: 1. Knowledgeable of local waters and techniques 2. Good equipment 3. Personable 4. Works hard to put you on fish 5. Likes to fish as much as you. 6. Not only helps you catch fish but also shares techniques to make you a better fisherman. I am happy to say Catfish has all these traits and many more. His knowledge of the local water is impeccable and his boat and equipment are state of the art. He is polite, considerate and personable. Most importantly, he will spare no effort to put you on fish. In my particular case we hit many different spots jigging, trolling and casting. This dude loves to fish and does not approach it as a job. He genuinely loves working with the clients. In short, you cannot go wrong with Catfish. A Lake like St Clair can be intimidating for someone who has never been there. A day with Catfish will shorten your learning curve exponentially.
