    Disappointing
This looks like an impressive and attractive mall. However the first impression is of a huge anchor store that's vacant, next to a food court that has about 1/3 of its restaurants closed. I made the mistake of trying to visit and have a bite to eat before a 7:30 movie at the nearby AMC. I was served at one of the restaurant booths, telling them that I wanted to eat inside. No problem, except nobody told me that the mall would close at 7, with security guards walking through shouting "the mall is closed" as I took my first bites. Really? You'd think that the restaurant might point that out. Even more, you'd think that a major shopping mall would be open a little later than 7PM if they want to get some business back after the pandemic. Maybe I can understand why there are so many vacant places.

Did not feel safe at this mall!
This mall was located near where we were staying so we decided to mall walk here after our dinner elsewhere. We parked and I noticed that there were no other people walking into the mall even though it was about 6 pm on a Friday night. A car with completely blacked out windows drove by us as we entered. Inside the mall there were restrooms which I refused to utilize as there was a group of young men and women loitering in the hall blocking the doorways. Pretty soon, the security guards approached them and I heard one of them say, "I could escort you out right now!" In this day and age of terrorist bombings and shootings, being in the clear minority in a place like this was quite unnerving to say the least. We did our walk rapidly, seeing more security than we have ever seen anywhere, and then got the heck out of Dodge!! It seems like it is in a nice part of Dearborn, but I was entirely a fish out of water here and felt very uncomfortable. It's sad to continue to see places like this die out because people feel threatened to even go. I would never go there again.
