Fun afternoon, and back home for dinnertime.
Spent the afternoon at timber ridge today. Was a bit disappointed. Only 1 lift and a couple of tow ropes running. And only about 1/2 of runs open. But not really their fault. Very little snow in southern MI so far this year, with many thaw days. But had fun and a great time. The runs here are rather short, but fairly steep.

    Average skiing, lots of money
Visited Timber Ridge from out of town with some friends and did two hours of tubing and a day of skiing. I've been skiing many times before, and this was BY FAR the most expensive, overpriced place I've been to. When we got there, the price was higher than the price online. I'm not sure if this was because we visited around the New Year, but the website should have at least been updated. The day we went, only two or three lifts were open and we had to pay way too much for the amount of skiing we could do. I've done skiing in Northern Michigan for half the price. There were a few beginners in our group, so this was a good choice for us as the hills that were open were all greens and blues. The tubing was very fun, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall, we all had a good time.
