Fun layout, great service, conditioning could use some attention

Marsh Ridge Golf Course is a beautiful northern Michigan golf course. It has the elevation change and tree lined fairways you want and expect from a up north golf course. Combine that with our newly renovated hotel rooms and our first class restaurant, Marsh Ridge Resort is Northern Michigan's Best value Stay and Play Resort.

    New owners
    This golf course is now owned by the Loon and Lakes golf course owners. It had many elevations a very fun course. They let you play 2 somes and don't make you pair up. We play this course once each year and always look forward to it. They have packages with over night stats and a driving range.

    Not 5 star but a really great place to golf
    We have been going to Marsch Ridge for about 10 years and have always enjoyed. Their accommadtions are not 5 star but pretty close to 4 star, depending on the room you get. Their Condo on the 10th hole is really nice with a great view and comfortable rooms and kitchen. The Hotel type rooms are big but nothing really fancy, with a small fridge and microwave. Perhaps a little worn, but for Northern Michigan and the great price they can't be beat. Great if you have children with you. The course is well maintained and always a little different to play, some very interesting holes. The pour a nice drink, and the wine list is good. Always a nice staff. Pro Shop is small but has womens clothes too, a plus. Try the encrusted Walleye if you like fish, one of our favorite meals. Overall a nice, pleasant place to spend a few days at a good price.
