Excellent boat rental Marina. They have a huge collection of rental boats from fish and ski and wake boats to pontoons and tri-toons of varying sizes. All are in great shape and have great power. We rented a tri-toon with a 200hp Suzuki outboard and the boat couldn’t have been better or handled more easily. Flew across the water. Really fun to drive. Doing a multi-day rental lets you have the boat to enjoy all day long into a lovely sunset. The Marina staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. Very easy rental. I have rented and chartered boats around the country and this has to be one of the best marina facilities I have ever seen. Just the best.See more..
Rented a pontoon for 4 hours and we had a great experience! Location was easy to find, pontoon was well taken care of and clean. Had a nice stereo system in it so we were able to connect to our phones and play our music. Everyone was friendly and helpful! I forget the one lady’s name but she even called us while we were out on the lake to give us a heads up about a storm coming through and let us know to stay on the south end of the lake so we didn’t get caught in it. Will be renting from them again soon!See more..

Had a Fourth of July celebration with family and friends. Rented the 32’ boat with restroom and slide. The boat was clean and in very good shape. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is second time we rented from them. Have not been disappointed. We did lose the anchor at one point. Thank goodness we were in fairly shallow water. After about 15 minutes it was found. We had 8 very good swimmers looking for it. The day was perfect besides that.See more..

We rented a pontoon boat on July 13th originally but the weather showed a greater chance of rain this day. No issue at all to change the date to July 14th after sending an email. The pontoon boat was great…a Bentley and Teresa was very informative and walked us through the entire process. We thought when we rented there is no way we’ll spend the entire time on the lake…but we did. It’s beautiful surrounded by mountains and the water was refreshing. We took our lunch and had plenty of snacks and water to drink. It was really a fun filled day that we all enjoyed. Also not a large crowd of people on the lake which made us feel we had it all to ourselves. Would definitely recommend this place.See more..

I only have wonderful things to say about LaPrade's Marina boat rental. The reservation process was smooth, customer service was superb, the staff were friendly and very helpful. It was our fist time driving a boat, yet we felt confident after going through their check-in process. Lake Burton is a little paradise in North Georgia. The lake is surrounded by mountains, the water is transparent, there are small islands where you can stop near by to swim and have a picnic. There are several coves where fishing is just perfect. We caught our first one after the second cast. Bait can be purchase at the marina. The marina also has a couple restaurants, a boutique and even an ice cream place. The only thing I regret was not renting the boat for a full day, half day went by too fast!See more..
I can't believe we waited so long to do this! We needed a break from the house and kayaking the canal fit the bill. Due to Covid, the company couldn't run the shuttle so we dropped a car off at Lake Olmstead and then headed up to the Savannah Rapids Park. The staff was friendly and professional and the equipment in great condition. I was most impressed when they asked me to see my car keys that I would use to return after the trip. Smart! The trip itself was a beautiful 3-hour paddle and float with a good view of the wildlife and plenty of basking turtles. We enjoyed our time on the water, a brisk (15 mph) headwind made the lake navigation a little tough - but we slept good that night! Much thanks to the Savannah Rapids Kayak Rentals, we will be back.See more..
This could be an incredible campsite if some small changes were made. (Dumpster was overflowing with trash and trash was all over the waterline. Also, there was no easily identifiable number [that they pick up] to call in case of emergencies... Our gate pass didn’t work and no one picked up the number we called) Overall, the site was great, the ducks/geese and cat that visited on a daily basis were awesome. Our neighbors were great. The staff was great. I just wish, that with this price, we would have daily trash pick up, well maintained bathrooms and trash picked up off the water line. Just didn’t appear to be anyone around that was checking on anything throughout the day. IF you so stay here... Site 35 is the best... Level, best view, largest site, and if you have kids, there’s a perfect spot to to enter the water!See more..
