  1. 4.0 Yellow River Park (21 reviews)
    - Delightful day!
Spent 2-3 hours Equestrian Trails • Hiking Trails
    Yellow River Park image
Years ago, when I had two grandchildren, we went to the Yellow River Game Ranch. It was a disappointment. When I read that it was open under new ownership, I made the trip with now three granddaughters, ages 12,10 and 6. It was a lovely experience. The animals are well cared for and the park is clean. The girls loved feeding the animals healthy treats (lettuce and carrots). If you were disappointed by the old park, please try this new one. It's a delightful place to visit. See more..
  2. 4.5 Harbins Park (8 reviews)
    - Great place to Mountain Bike & more
Spent 2-3 hours Biking Trails • Equestrian Trails • Hiking Trails
    Harbins Park image
If you enjoy mountain biking, Harbins Park is a great destination. With around 15 total miles of trails, you can get a great ride in, or if you just want a quick ride, the trails are broken up into several shorter loops. Most of the MTB trail system is singletrack, with some sections great for beginners, and some with nice climbs and fast descents. There isn't anything there that a moderately skilled rider can't handle. A couple of creek crossings will lead to a great downhill run with dirt berms and jumps. The park also offers paved trails for recreation, playgrounds, hiking and horseback trails, and various ball fields. Gwinnett County outdid themselves on this park. It is worth a drive! See more..

We offer trail rides, riding lessons, birthday parties and summer camps. If you love horseback riding, you wont find a better place to enjoy horses and the best summer camps. At Rockin N Stables we strive to give you, your family and your guests the best horse back riding experince. All of our horses are laid back and friendly. Trail rides at our Pelham Ga location are $35 per person and are a little more than an hour long. We will spend a few minutes in the arena making sure everyone is comfortable with their horse and the equiptment (a little mini lesson for those that have not riden much) then we will go out for the trail ride Summer camps 2016 are every Monday Wends and Friday from 9-3 starting June 6th till August 16th. It is $50 for the day and includes a hot lunch. You may pick and choose what days you want your child to come. The kids will each be assigned a horse for the day. When the kids arrive we will take them to feed all the horses and bring the horses up when they are finished eating. The kids will then learn how to brush their horse and tack them up. After their horses are tacked up we will spend the day in the arena going over and through obstacles and playing games. At about 11 we take a break and the kids will feed their horses lunch and give them water. Then after they take care of their horse we will break for lunch. A hot lunch will be provided for all the campers. After lunch if all the kids are comfortable we will go for a mini trail ride on our property. When everyone gets back from the trail ride at about 230 we will unsaddle the horses give them bubble baths and put them back and feed them dinner. Then after all the horses are unsaddled bathed and put away it is time to go home. We have 10 years of experience and recently sold our Naples, Florida property and have relocated and moved to our 50 acre property in Pelham, Georgia. I’ve done almost 70 spartan races a couple of terrain races and 1 rugged maniac and I must say Savage race was a blast the grip obstacles are a lot of fun! A lot of water to fall into and Davyjones locker was a big jump into water! I did it open wave this time next time I would like to try competitive! Venue was very nice rolling trails but all were wide trails. Savage is definitely worth trying ! See more..
