  3. 4.5 LakePoint Sports (62 reviews)
    - Nice Facility but a bit Pricey
    Sports Complexes
    LakePoint Sports image
The facility and parking are pretty well laid out - the fields are really nicely maintained and they don't allow peanuts, gum, or sunflower seeds in order to keep it clean (which it is). The fields hold up to the wettest weather because they are turf, which is really unrealistic but allows scouts to watch athletes no matter the weather. They charge for parking and there is no all-weekend pass. So we played 3 days in a row and had to pay $15 ea day to get in and park. That is on top of the tournament fees. It is worth it if your player is older and wants to be seen by scouts but for 13u and 14u tournaments, it's a bit ridiculous. Additionally, tournament rules allow player substitutions. There are several teams that milked this to death, bringing in fresh pitchers every day. They do not check bat, gloves, or players for legality. That's really a problem if you want a legitimate tournament venue and reputation. See more..
  4. 4.0 State Mutual Stadium (53 reviews)
    - Great Family Outing
    Spent 2-3 hours Sports Complexes
    State Mutual Stadium image
Great family outing at a fraction of the major league price. Tickets are much more reasonable as well as food prices. Food isn't cheap but still a much better deal. The operations are not back up to full staff but still adequate. They also entertain the kids in-between innings. Since it is minor league, I think the players try harder to show their skills. 7. 4.0 Center Ice Arena (9 reviews)
    - Great ice rink
    Spent 1-2 hours Sports Complexes
    Center Ice Arena image
Center Ice is what Sandy Springs has needed for years. It is clean, well run, the ice is perfect, and the facility is first class. The ice will eventually smell like hockey, but right now it smells like roses and popcorn. Parking can be a challenge but that's the only negative I could muster. As soon as they get the hockey program underway, this will be a first class facility and in the absolutely perfect location. We will spend many hours skating at Center Ice. See more..
  8. 5.0 Roswell Area Park Tennis Center (6 reviews)
    - A Great Place to Walk!
    Spent 1-2 hours Sports Complexes
Whenever we visit family in Roswell, we always head to this park to walk. It is a wonderful park with lots of trails and picnic and playground areas. It is a great place for families and for dog walkers. There are many playing fields for team sports too. It is a safe place to walk, and there is also a lake for catch and release fishing. The trails are well marked and mostly level. Many families seem to take advantage of this park. Roswell is fortunate to have such a delightful park. We look forward to our next visit to Roswell and our next walk in this park. See more..
  9. 4.5 Atlanta IceForum (4 reviews)
    - Something to do on a rainy day!
    Thursday: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Spent 1-2 hours Sports Complexes
Over Christmas holidays, we went to the Atlanta IceForum open skating for two hours and had so much fun. I haven't been ice skating in 20 years and it was a blast. All the kids with us ages 12, 13, and 16 had fun and picked up on the ice skating quickly. There were kids and adults of all ages there and I felt it was reasonably priced at $11 including your skate rental. And, it was good exercise. Be there at the beginning of the time slot because they clean/scrap the ice between each session. Towards the end, the ice can be more groved. There is no charge for adults that are supervising children if they are not skating. See more..

  11. 5.0 Columbus Ice Rink (3 reviews)
    - Hockey time!
    Sports Complexes
    Columbus Ice Rink image
One of the closest ice rinks near my home, so I decided to go to stick time after more than 15 yrs of not playing. I got there early and there was a decent turn out, one goalie and 8 or more players. Got checked in and paid and headed to the locker rooms. The were very clean and well kept and I quickly got changed and hit the ice. The ice was also in great shape and they supplied pucks and the goals were already set up! Even though I was almost 40 yrs older than everyone, the Auburn Ice Hockey players (Auburn University's home rink) were very accommodating and made me feel right at home! See more..

    Mountain Park Park image
I recently visited Mountain Park Park. It is a 44 acre park located at 5050 Five Forks Trickum Road. I spent several hours enjoying the park. Got my workout in on the one mile paved walking path. It is dog friendly (on a leash), bike, and skate friendly. I also spent some time on the shaded soft service trail that winds through the woods around the perimeter of the park. Really enjoyed my visit to this neighborhood community park and hope to return in the future. Open daily sunrise until 11pm. Plenty of parking in multiple lots. Other facilities include: 1-Multiple Concession stands, with restrooms, picnic tables close by 2-Covered pavilions with picnic tables. Some with grills 3-Seven baseball/softball fields 4-One football field 5-Track around football field 6-A natural terrain soft surface trail encircles the perimeter of the whole park winding thru the woods. Picnic tables and park benches are strategically located along the trail 7-Six lighted tennis & pickleball courts 8-Sand volleyball court 9-Three kid’s playgrounds with benches, water fountains, restrooms, & picnic tables close by 10-Skate park complex See more..

    - Looks great on the outside
    Sports Complexes
This facility is beautiful from the outside. He playgrounds look fun, but walk in the bathroom and OMG! There are toilets that don’t flush, nasty floors and one of the two sinks doesn’t have running water and has nasty hair in the bowl. They need to hire a capable cleaning crew, or this nice facility will go down hill quickly! See more..
