Farmer's Daughter Vineyards & Tasting Room image
My daughter and I woke up in Thomasville to a closed downtown! It was a Sunday so I guess that's the reason? Disappointed because it was so charming with the beautiful cobblestone roads and lovely stores. Lucky for us, the one place that was open was Farmer's Daughter Tasting Room. Made our day:). Jennifer the hostess was adorable, friendly and knowledgeable. We had the special of the day, a fruity delicious Sangria. The place is beautiful also, with a delightful display of corks on the wall and merchandise you can buy. I bought a wine glass to remember our time at Farmer's Daughter. See more..

  4. 5.0 The Coffee Vinyard (1 review)
    - Coffee and so much more
    Wine Bars
I was intrigued by the name, Coffee Vinyard, and wanted to try this oasis in coffee wilderness. We were greeted by the owner, Cheryl, a veteran, who had always wanted to have her own coffee/wine place. The interior is warm and comfortable and perfect for sipping and visiting. Cheryl advised us quickly, with a smile on her face, that this was not Starbucks and the drinks weren't fancy. But I had a nice cappuccino the first time and a wonderful tea with foamed milk topping the second time. Cheryl is easy to talk to and we got to visit with some regulars who stopped by. There is often live music on weekends to go with the wine offerings, We didn't get to try those but hope to the next time we are in town. Same with the food. We are looking forward to the return. 5. 5.0 Corks and Cuvee (1 review)
    - Excellent wine, knowledgeable staff, great ambiance!
    Thursday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Wine Bars
So, one of my younger brother came into town from California. I prefer to spend my money locally, so we went to Olde Town Conyers for lunch. As we were walking to the eatery, I passed Corks & Cuvee, and my feet turned me around before my body could catch up. I didn't realize we had a new spot in town, and it's the only one of its kind. The owner greeted us and I did a tasting. I bought 3 bottles after my tasting. The pours are perfect and Regina was very informative and the consummate host. I am definitely taking friends/family here when they come into town. The place is so welcoming and beautiful as well. As a matter of fact, I think I will also go there just to get away and relax! Kudos to Regina for bringing a new venture into my wonderful town. See more..
