4.5The Sandbar(28 reviews) - Best Kayaking Outfit in Athens to Kayak The Broad! Super Friendly Staff! Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks • Self-Guided Tours & Rentals • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
This is our 3 or 4th time kayaking out of Sandbar and the staff and owners are super nice and friendly. They take you up the river in a bus and you get out at their place instead of having to come back by bus after kayaking like some other places. Much better to ride up before kayaking down the river. Sam the Bloodhound that is usually on site is awesome...See more..
Great variety of beer, great staff, great location. My only suggestion is to play music that people have heard before. It takes a bit away from the experience See more..
5.0Pedego Electric Bikes Lake Oconee(4 reviews) - Rent the Pedego E bikes from Mike! Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Gear Rentals • Self-Guided Tours & Rentals
We loved exploring Reynolds on the Pedego e bikes!! It’s the perfect way to spend some family time exploring all the trails, both through the woods and by the lake! Mike is great and even brought chargers and a goodie bag to the house when we decided we just needed to keep the bikes for another day! Great for our 13 and 11 year olds to feel more independent, gain some speed safely and get a little exercise too! See more..
Atlanta!! I. LOVE. ESCAPE CAMPERVANS. I got the Mervericks gem, Angular. The van was in excellent condition, but Reagan made sure to check it over with us for any existing damages before we left. She also showed us everything in the van and how to use it. The bed, sink, refrigerator, and stove made our music festival vacation an absolute breeze. The bed was easy to convert to and comfortable, and the blackout curtains were perfect. The sink was easy to use. Even though it's *not* a freezer, the refrigerator was cold enough to keep my frozen patties a safe temp (and can be adjusted to whatever temp you need). The van was easier to drive than I anticipated (never having driven a vehicle that large before), and gas was easy to fill. The Bluetooth connection to my phone was also super easy to set up so we could play whatever music we wanted. There was a space, a holder, or a compartment for everything. The extras we added were clutch! : We got the camping chairs (were allowed 4 chairs for the two of us in case we had friends to share with). They were really nice quality. Definitely get the bedding set up, too. Sheet fits the bed and the pillows and comforter were warm and comfortable. Again, not cheap stuff! The tent was in good shape, and came with two sleeping pads and two warm sleeping bags. We also got the electric kit, but weren't able to use it. When I asked if they would consider refunding the cost of the kit since it was clearly unopened, they responded kindly and promptly, and issued a credit. 10/10 for Reagan and John and their Atlanta team. I would definitely do it again!See more..
