Our group visited the Ponce City Market seeking a ramen restaurant that caught my attention called Ton Ton, which ended up being really delicious. Before we ate, we stopped by Posman Books, a little bookstore that had a lot of familiar books with interesting covers I hadn’t seen before, along with bookish merchandise and some Studio Ghibli items. I got some notebooks I couldn’t resist but was very tempted to buy plenty of other things while browsing. After shopping and eating, our group rested our feet in the sitting area on the third floor, which revealed the market’s railway history evidenced by the exposed train tracks along the wooden walkways. Let me say first off I hate traditional malls. Ashley park to me is like an open air mall. We live about 1 1/2 hours from Chattanooga, TN and we have nothing like Ashley park. At Ashley park you can park right in front of the shop you want to shop at. There are areas for families or friends to just set out in Adirondack chairs. There is also yard games out in the community areas and at night they have alot of lighting for safety. I have to say also Ashley park is very very handicapped friendly. I lots of times have to use a wheelchair due to a car accident. Being able to park near stores instead of walking into large malls makes it easier for me to walk and be independent. Some of the stores we've been in is Bath and Body Works, Creamistry, Great American Cookie Company, Rocket Fizz, Gamestop, and the Popcorn Shop.See more..

Mall was decent. Expected way more for the area. Stores weren’t bad but found a lot of them were unfriendly staff or didn’t greet us when we came into some of the stores.
