    My family camped here - very clean, lots of boat slips. They have a playground, some cabins, a little beach, a store and an ice maker. Very well maintained campground. the only bummer is that all the lakefront spots belong to permanent residents, which I get. They are guaranteed money, but it would have been nice to have one for the weekend! we went out on the lake and caught over 20+ small fish. They also have fishing tournaments almost every weekend which was fun to see in person. See more..

    A large and nice marina inside Red Top Mountain State Park on Lake Alltoona about 30 miles N W of Atlanta. It is off Exit 285 of Interstate 75 just North of Lake Point Station, a big sports complex at Exit 283. The marina does boat rentals, service, repairs and sales: from personal water craft to pontoon party boats. It has lots of boat slips and docks with gas and electricity hook ups, restrooms and a grille. It is a fun place after a beautiful drive to it thru scenic Red Top Mountain State Park. There are cabins for rent overlooking the marina. There is also a little store there. See posted pictures. See more..
