Arches Brewing is a craft brewery located just north of the Atlanta airport, in the arts district of Hapeville, GA. Our focus is bringing the best of old-world and modern brewing practices together to deliver many beer styles never commercially brewed in Georgia. Our biochemist-brewmaster, Jamey Adams, brewed his first batch of beer over ten years ago with the idea that beer could be made better through chemistry. Through many hours of brewing and tasting, we now have over 30 different distinct recipes. We have a strong emphasis on classic & seasonal lagers, but also make many American styles along with several strong Belgians. We believe doing things the old way makes for a cleaner, more complex and balanced, delicious end result. We offer many year-round styles along with many seasonal lagers which follow the European brewing calendar. We will also offer specialty and limited-release beers throughout the year available only at the brewery.See more..
4.0Cherry Street Brewing Halcyon(22 reviews) - Great food, Great beer. Thursday: 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM Spent 2-3 hours Breweries
We went here twice in September after moving to the Halcyon and it has been phenomenal both times. The only hiccup was the first time, the restaurant was not near capacity and yet still the food took forever. However, in terms of quality of the wait staff, food, and beer, this place is great. There are also plenty of TVs for those who wish to watch sports. Totally recommend. See more..

Macon Beer Company for brunch again. Came here with three girlfriends. I had the Second Street Heat burger which was amazing. Bun was soft but didn't fall apart, burgers were juicy and held together with the Cabot white cheddar cheese, and the Applewood bacon adds a crispy element. The fried Brussels sprouts were sautéed, not deep fried, and delicious as well. I also ordered the Big Ass Piece of Chocolate Cake to go. I took a photo of it next to my electric can opener at home to show just how big this slice of cake is. It's like 1/4 of a cake and 6 layers. Moist, decadent, dense, rich...whatever you want to call it, this cake will knock you out! This place never disappoints.See more..
A little outside the city area, this brewery was fun to visit. Music was provided as well as corn hole and a food truck. Laid back vibe and good beer. See more..
4.0Riverwatch Brewery(15 reviews) - Tiny place, not enough beer on hand Thursday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
I was really looking forward to my visit here. Being from California, I'm very familiar with craft beer places. Brewery is located in an old industrial place. They have some outside covered seating and a very small area for ordering and drinking inside. They were out of the couple of beers that I was really wanting to try. This place would be 4 stars if that would have come to fruition. Maybe you will be luckier. Worth looking into for a beer enthusiast though.See more..

3.5BlueTarp Brewing(14 reviews) - Worth a trip Thursday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Breweries I never been to a brewery before but I bought a 2 person tour for here from Groupon. It included 2 free glasses and 2 free t-shirts. When I arrived they gave me the glasses and 5 tickets for each. You trade these tickets for tasting of the beers they are brewing at the time. The building reminds me a lot of a service garage. The front part of the building has a TV (with sports on), some wooden games (jenga, connect 3). The outside has picnic tables for people to gather. In the back of the building is the brewery. There are tours given at certain times and last about 40 minutes depending on questions. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and very friendly. I don't know that I would drive hours to visit but if your in the metro Atlanta area it is worth checking out. I am attaching a link to there web site that should answer any questions. http://www.bluetarpbrew.com/tours/See more..

4.5Abide Brewing Company(13 reviews) - Fun atmosphere, Great beer Thursday: Breweries
My husband and I were in town and decided to stop in for a beer. They have a really fun atmosphere. There were families with young kids playing outside and a food truck that was serving delicious food. Inside, they had a nice musician playing guitar and singing, games, and multiple TV’s with ballgames on. We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were really nice. They let us sample several beers before we each decided on one. My husband liked the German Blonde and I liked the Blackberry Sour. Our quick trip for a beer lasted two and a half hours and if we lived closer would definitely go often. We would highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a beer.See more..

My girlfriend and I stumbled across Glover Park Brewery while walking around downtown Marietta as we have recently relocated from Florida. After hearing so many great reviews from locals we had encountered in the community, we were excited to try out some of Glover's fresh brews. Unfortunately, to our dismay, we realized they were closed (on Monday's and Tuesday's) as we approached; however it looked like they had just finished hosting a private party. As we began walking away, a gentleman stopped us and asked if we'd like to have a beer! It just so happened to be the owner Hank. We got to speak with him for a little while and we purchased a couple of his favorite beers. They were GREAT! We were taken back by his warm hospitality, especially since they weren't technically open but he insisted it wasn't a bother! Overall, a great owner and great beer! We will be back many more times! Hubby and I were traveling home to Punta Gorda and decided to stay the night in Lake Park. I googled breweries in the area, and this place was the only one around so we decided to go. What a great brewery, probably in our top 2 (top for us is Ellicottville in NY) Because of COVID they weren't doing flights, bt they allowed you try anything. The beertenders are great and personable. The beers....OMG, so good. I had the Amber hubby had the blonde..I also had a glass of the Coffee porter...one of the best I've ever had. The building is located in the former water facility for the city of Valdosta. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night just to go back to Georgia Beer Company and we will make sure this is a stop anyime we go through the area.See more..
My family and I have been here twice, each visit seperated by about a year. Both times it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Their Shoali IPA is one of the best. Their Rye Charles- a year round Rye IPA- is also amazing. The staff is helpful and kind. There is an outsdoorsy area that is surrounded by a wall. This is great to let the kids run around without worrying about them getting into traffic or too far away. Inside there was plenty of room and a chess board to play with. I highly recommend!See more..

4.5Cochran Mill Brewing Company(6 reviews) - Score another one for the blue collar man! Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
Strawn Brewing refers to itself as The Working Man's Brewery and the image is solid from the moment you find the place and park possibly on the gravel. They make a fine selection of rotating beers, offer a very friendly brewery experience, and you will be enchanted by the uniqueness of their place. They are lucky to have a local artist that admires the brewers and his own craft and constantly creates paraphernalia to please the owners and visitors. Strawn Brewing is worth the trip away from the mainstream to visit.See more..
