Was here for the summer Georgia Mountain Fair with a friend. Great place to learn history, try local delicacies, and support local businesses and artists. Make sure you bring cash with you because some of the shops don't have a chip reader. When we went there, some of the ATMs weren't available so we had to go all the way to the end of the fairgrounds to use an ATM. Try not to get pressured into buying stuff --- I fell victim to it at least twice. Haha. They have small exhibits, museums, and galleries but we didn't really see anyone explain anything to us except for the blacksmith. We were excited to look through pioneer shops and the museum but people didn't really notice us (we weren't sure if they were taking a break, busy, or not interested). This is the most accommodating RV park our Campers on Mission Group has used as for an event. They bent over backwards to assist us with our every need. The pavilion where we hosted a cookout for the campground was equipped with everything we would need. We provided a concert and puppet show in January with blowing winds. They had curtains and woodburning heaters at the pavilion for our comfort. It is a very quite campground located between 2 towns about 6 miles each from the campground.
