5.0Boundary Waters Resort & Marina(488 reviews) - Excellent Boat Rental at Boundary Waters Marina Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Waterskiing & Jetskiing • Gear Rentals • Boat Rentals • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
Excellent boat rental Marina. They have a huge collection of rental boats from fish and ski and wake boats to pontoons and tri-toons of varying sizes. All are in great shape and have great power. We rented a tri-toon with a 200hp Suzuki outboard and the boat couldn’t have been better or handled more easily. Flew across the water. Really fun to drive. Doing a multi-day rental lets you have the boat to enjoy all day long into a lovely sunset. The Marina staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. Very easy rental. I have rented and chartered boats around the country and this has to be one of the best marina facilities I have ever seen. Just the best.See more..
This was our second trip back to BRMK. The dam was experiencing some technical difficulties, so the water stayed at a relative consistent flow. What an amazing experience. We brought our two kids along for their first ever kayak adventure, and it could not have been more perfect. The ride back in the shuttle was a little too packed for COVID standards but they do insist unvaccinated people wear masks. For the vaccinated, masks are optional. I highly recommend BRMK because the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are reasonable if you need to rent equipment and they do offer shuttle service if you have your own gear. Enjoy Toccoa!!See more..

5.0Mill Pond Kayak, LLC(38 reviews) - Amazing experience! Fun for all ages! Boat Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
I stumbled upon some photos of Mill Pond Kayak while trying to plan a family trip to Savannah. I knew immediately this was something I absolutely had to do so I booked a tour for myself, my brother, and my parents. I was a little worried my parents wouldn’t really enjoy it but the whole fam ended up having a BLAST! George L Smith State Park is so beautiful and so peaceful - a nice little escape from the city and totally worth the 1.5 hour drive. The tour itself was awesome and lasted about 3 hours or maybe a little over. Most importantly, Wesley is an incredible guide. He taught us about the different wildlife and plant life out on the pond as well as the history of the park. He also takes photos throughout the kayaking tour - so you’ll end up with some really cool pics of your experience (what a bonus)! I highly recommend booking a kayak tour with Mill Pond Kayak. It’s seriously so much fun!!See more..

Young Harris Water Sports is a great place to rent anything. Our Tritoon was very clean, ran great, and had plenty of room for us and all our stuff. 4.5The Sandbar(28 reviews) - Best Kayaking Outfit in Athens to Kayak The Broad! Super Friendly Staff! Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks • Self-Guided Tours & Rentals • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
This is our 3 or 4th time kayaking out of Sandbar and the staff and owners are super nice and friendly. They take you up the river in a bus and you get out at their place instead of having to come back by bus after kayaking like some other places. Much better to ride up before kayaking down the river. Sam the Bloodhound that is usually on site is awesome...See more..
4.5Broad River Outpost(24 reviews) - Absolute must do in Ga! Kayaking & Canoeing

My kids and I had the BEST trip on Ebenezer Creek with Bobby. What an amazing experience! We were all beginners, and Bobby really went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable and safe. He’s extremely knowledgeable about every species of plant and animal we encountered, and shared many insightful stories about the creek and its history. He is truly a wealth of knowledge and knows every nook and cranny of that creek like the back of his hand. Ebenezer is absolutely breathtaking and though we paddled almost 3 miles in the July heat, our trip was peaceful and relaxing. Our group really wanted to keep going but after 2.5 hrs we were just exhausted! We saw several gators, white herring, and lots of other wildlife. I really hope I have the opportunity to come back and do it again! Special thank you to Brian who made booking a breeze. He accommodated the exact day and time I asked for. We really couldn’t have had a better experience and highly recommend BackWater Expeditions!See more..
This could be an incredible campsite if some small changes were made. (Dumpster was overflowing with trash and trash was all over the waterline. Also, there was no easily identifiable number [that they pick up] to call in case of emergencies... Our gate pass didn’t work and no one picked up the number we called) Overall, the site was great, the ducks/geese and cat that visited on a daily basis were awesome. Our neighbors were great. The staff was great. I just wish, that with this price, we would have daily trash pick up, well maintained bathrooms and trash picked up off the water line. Just didn’t appear to be anyone around that was checking on anything throughout the day. IF you so stay here... Site 35 is the best... Level, best view, largest site, and if you have kids, there’s a perfect spot to to enter the water!See more..
5.0Cole Watkins Tours(19 reviews) - Beautiful Stallings Island Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Boat Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
We had an amazing recent Kayak tour experience with Cole Watkins Tours. Cole took my family to Stallings Island and was so great to have him show us all the great spots. Highlights were feeding the very friendly donkeys and goats and the snake tree. The kayak was really beautiful and would recommend it to anyone wanting to see an area of Augusta you may not know exists!See more..

After spending the weekend with Shane in my PADI open water corse, I could not ask for a better instructor. I felt that I was taken care of and safe throughout the whole weekend of diving. I was able to preform all the requirements to a level that makes me feel safe to go diving again without him there. He answered all my questions with such professionalism and stayed on the topic until I fully understood what we were trying to accomplish. I know I will progress in my dive training and I will come back to Adventure Dive Center for it. Also, the shop was clean and well maintained. All my gear needs and questions was taken care of. Super knowledgeable about the products they carry. I would 100% recommend checking them out for any of your dive related needs.See more..
4.0Porterdale Yak Club(5 reviews) - A wonderful day on the river River Rafting & Tubing • Kayaking & Canoeing
Met up with 14 friends, we reserved kayaks from here in advance. Very low-key and friendly service. Cost was $35 for rental between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. They take the kayaks to a put-in point at a park a half-mile away and you can park over there. They demonstrated for us beginners how to operate the kayak (each one has a life jacket) and the paddle and there's a business card you can call to have them come by and pick up the kayak when you return back to the park. The Yellow River is very calm. Only after we'd paddled a few miles upstream was there any kind of current and of course it was nice to go with the current back down. The river didn't seem too deep -- you can stand up in it at spots -- and overall it was a great outing for all. Bring sunscreen, a hat, some water and a lunch!See more..

4.5The Flint River Outpost(3 reviews) - Just watching the birds sing Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Boat Rentals • Kayaking & Canoeing
This made me feel rough and strong even though we were just yard away from downtown Albany. I could get into the river the bubbling rapids were only a few feet away.I just allowed my mind to wander. The rugged terrain was so real.See more..
We departed Sprewell Bluff State Park at 2:PM and were picked up downstream at 5:PM. Rick (the owner) is very nice and offered us water to take along. Bring a pair of dry shorts to leave in your car. I got wet from sitting in the kayak, but did not flip over. It's a 3 hour trip so perhaps bring a beverage and a snack. The Flint River is gorgeous and worth exploring.See more..
