Terrible customer service. The rep was not friendly at all. Upon reaching the counter, his words were “drivers license, credit card” and he mumbled something else. I am an Atlanta resident and could not do the reservation. He actually asked me did I read the fine print? Wow!! Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience he basically made me feel worse. Now I can’t get my refund because AARP can’t get a live person on the phone to confirm I didn’t pick up the car. I am beyond disappointed in this company. I would NEVER recommend this rental place due to the horrible customer service. It’s been more than a week and AARP has not received a phone call or an email response from Routes to process my refund.See more..
We stayed at the Wine Valley Inn and Cottages who recommended Bill and Donn to us.I spoke to Donn over the course of several months planning a trip with 8 others to go wine tasting. Donn was very helpful and gave me several options. Both Donn and Bill met us on Monday and drove us to 4 wineries of my choosing. Most wine tours choose for you. They arrived early and we boarded the two vans. They drove very carefully to the first winery, the only one of the day on Monday. We used them as a taxi rather than a tour van just for Monday. The vans were clean, they both were extremely friendly and made us laugh. When we were finished I sent a text to Donn and they came for us in a very short time. The next day we arranged to be picked up at 1, Bill was able to use a larger van so we could all be together. We went to four wineries. We were not rushed. We were impressed with how safely he drove and the immaculate vans.See more..

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our sunset cruise on Lake Hartwell chartered by Captain Russell. His boat is large, clean, and well maintained. Russell did a great job catering to our needs – providing history of the lake and region, showing us interesting spots along the way, and finding the perfect location to watch the sunset. My husband and I were blessed to have crazy Aunt Connie as our driver. I was impressed with her from the very start. She called me a couple of days before our scheduled pick-up to confirm everything. She instructed me to save her number in case we needed to contact her. She picked us up promptly at our scheduled time. She was very easy to talk to and we really felt like we got to know her. At the wineries, she gave us just enough alone time balanced with checking in on us. She also gave us a couple of Police ducks to remember her by. I would highly recommend this tour and request Connie because she was the best. In addition, we enjoyed all of the wineries and the box lunch was delicious. We definitely will request her whenever we are in the Helen area again. My only regret, is not getting a picture of her with us.See more..

When I called the office he read back my reservation and then told me he would call me back. Upon calling me back he gave me two options. Wait 2.5 hrs or take another shuttle service. He offered to reimburse part of the fee home because the inadvertently had us arriving two days later. Keep in mind he read back my reservation correctly. After 10hrs of international travel you can see how even that offer was unacceptable. I clarified that he was refunding the entire amount and he got rude and said "Oh no I'm not refunding the total amount" . Unacceptable and bad business. They made a mistake and my inconvenience is worth a full refund. I will never use this service again and neither should you. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy.See more..
