This was a wonderful adventure with teenagers and adults. We had a group of 7, ages 11 to 55, and from the time we got there until the time we left, the staff was very attentive. Kayley and Jonathan did a great job of keeping us up on our current riddles of the day and jokes while teaching us the dos and don’t of ziplining. Joshua and Nolan were awesome at making sure we stayed safe. If ever in Helen for a visit this is a definite must do for some fun for all. Great job Sunburst Adventures staff! See more..

I can not recommend the ziplining at Historic Banning Mills highly enough. The zip lines are fast, thrilling, and give you nice views of the scenic environment. The guides were awesome!! They were helpful, personable, and made you feel comfortable with the equipment and activity. My only warning is, they have different bridges you need to cross while you are doing the tour. They were challenging and a bit unnerving for me, but others in our group seemed to enjoy them. All-in-all I say if you are in the Atlanta area and want some outdoor fun and excitement, give these guys your consideration!!! See more..

We and my boyfriend visited here this past weekend and did the level 3 zip line tour. It was very fun and we enjoyed it very much. Morgan and Elizabeth were our guides and they were very friendly and helpful. There were several people who had never zip lined in the group we were in and they helped walk them through everything. I would suggest level 2 or 3 for anyone who is not a novice. Level 1 I would say is for beginners and an introduction to how to zip line. All 3 levels took about 3 hours to complete. There are several zip lines and several bridges. The last zip line is half a mile long and has some incredible views of the mountains. Would definitely recommend! See more..

I was skeptical going in, but this was great for my family (two boys, 14 and 10). The younger one is typically skittish but he was all-in. Beautiful area, shaded even in the summer so it wasn't TOO hot. They kept families separate and required masks when on the ground. We'll definitely go again. See more..

This is our 3 or 4th time kayaking out of Sandbar and the staff and owners are super nice and friendly. They take you up the river in a bus and you get out at their place instead of having to come back by bus after kayaking like some other places. Much better to ride up before kayaking down the river.
