Went to this comedy theater with a relative from out of town, and it is extremely tight in there. You can’t hardly sit and eat and enjoy the show because you are smashed in like sardines. In order to have some space you must buy the booth or gold circle tickets. The waiters some nice but others rude and you have to purchase food and drinks. The wings came out cold and had to be sent back. I would be worried that if a fire or a fight broke out, trying to get out of there would be a Nightmare!!! Not sure if I would go back. See more..
  4. 3.5 Uptown Comedy Corner (3 reviews)
    - Great vision to move location
Spent More than 3 hours Comedy Clubs
I was visiting my friends and one knows I love comedy. She wanted me to see the new location. When we got there we had to pay $5 to park (not bad but I understand that for more popular nights its $10). The food was okay (wings tiny) but we had good service. My drink was good. Prices reasonable. Like all comedy spots expect a 2 item minimum and added gratuity. The lady that tended the restroom was nice. The headliner that night was not a favorite of mine but host Darryl Damn did his thing because we were a tough small crowd. However I love the new location. The stage is small but there is plenty of room inside. It was a genius idea that they turned the space in back to a bar/club so when the show is over you can have an "after party." I will definitely be back (and have plenty of cash on hand). See more..
