This was a wonderful adventure with teenagers and adults. We had a group of 7, ages 11 to 55, and from the time we got there until the time we left, the staff was very attentive. Kayley and Jonathan did a great job of keeping us up on our current riddles of the day and jokes while teaching us the dos and don’t of ziplining. Joshua and Nolan were awesome at making sure we stayed safe. If ever in Helen for a visit this is a definite must do for some fun for all. Great job Sunburst Adventures staff!See more..

My husband and I went on a 1 hour guided tour. The weather was perfect and the horses were so calm and knew exactly what to do. If you want a break from the congestion of Helen for a bit it’s only about a 10 minute drive (time of year and congestion can change that). Horses are well trained..... never been on a horse? No problem. They explain everything and make sure your comfortable the whole time. If you can follow simple directions, you’re in for a great time. I see reviews about “mud”...... So professional on the phone that I assumed this was a franchise business. However we discovered once onsite that this was actually a Family operation - which honestly made it even Better! I had bought a Groupon for my Husband's birthday that included ATV & Horseback Riding. They worked with us when we had to reschedule and helped us find their new location when we got lost. Jason & Christina were charming, skilled, and helpful. It was also a special treat to see the kids eagerly helping with the gear and horses. This is heart warming in an age where most teens and preteens live face down in their smartphones. The riding was a blast! I'd only been on a horse twice when I decided to ride a Serenbe so I was a bit apprehensive. All worry was for naught, it was a small group and I leader was a seasoned rider. We all fell in love with our horses and the trails are beautiful, along streams, open fields, lakes and you can even book a lunch ride where you can stop by the waters edge at the stream and have lunch from the local cafe. Summer, book early in the day since it does get hot but spring, fall and even winter riding is awesome. At Rockin N Stables we strive to give you, your family and your guests the best horse back riding experince. All of our horses are laid back and friendly. Trail rides at our Pelham Ga location are $35 per person and are a little more than an hour long. We will spend a few minutes in the arena making sure everyone is comfortable with their horse and the equiptment (a little mini lesson for those that have not riden much) then we will go out for the trail ride Summer camps 2016 are every Monday Wends and Friday from 9-3 starting June 6th till August 16th. It is $50 for the day and includes a hot lunch. You may pick and choose what days you want your child to come. The kids will each be assigned a horse for the day. When the kids arrive we will take them to feed all the horses and bring the horses up when they are finished eating. The kids will then learn how to brush their horse and tack them up. After their horses are tacked up we will spend the day in the arena going over and through obstacles and playing games. At about 11 we take a break and the kids will feed their horses lunch and give them water. Then after they take care of their horse we will break for lunch. A hot lunch will be provided for all the campers. After lunch if all the kids are comfortable we will go for a mini trail ride on our property. When everyone gets back from the trail ride at about 230 we will unsaddle the horses give them bubble baths and put them back and feed them dinner. Then after all the horses are unsaddled bathed and put away it is time to go home. My friend and I went horseback riding from a Groupon we found. They also have ATVs - I will definitely return to do that one day. It was super fun! The lady owner was present - very nice. The workers were very nice and friendly. The animals behaved well. My horse was Lady. We were given brief instructions on the dos and don'ts. The ride was 1 hr long. Some areas need a little more trimming of tree limbs. Some areas allowed for trotting. The horses responded well to the reins and commands. Definitely wear comfortable clothing.
