We had eight of us go on the tour with Becca and had a great time. Grantville needs to embrace the popularity of TWD and make use of the properties in the town. The tour that Becca gives is great and you get to see the apartment used by Morgan in the CLEAR episode. It really brings you right into the story of The Walking Dead. We enjoyed the tour and our guide, Becca, was great. We plan on going again in the Fall. For $10, it is well worth the drive to see.See more..
My kids and I had the BEST trip on Ebenezer Creek with Bobby. What an amazing experience! We were all beginners, and Bobby really went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable and safe. He’s extremely knowledgeable about every species of plant and animal we encountered, and shared many insightful stories about the creek and its history. He is truly a wealth of knowledge and knows every nook and cranny of that creek like the back of his hand. Ebenezer is absolutely breathtaking and though we paddled almost 3 miles in the July heat, our trip was peaceful and relaxing. Our group really wanted to keep going but after 2.5 hrs we were just exhausted! We saw several gators, white herring, and lots of other wildlife. I really hope I have the opportunity to come back and do it again! Special thank you to Brian who made booking a breeze. He accommodated the exact day and time I asked for. My (adult) children are still talking about L&R Alpaca Haven Farm! We visited in May, and of all the trip highlights, this was the one to write home about. My daughter has enjoyed all things alpaca for years, and now I understand why. Alpacas are cute, and these guys are loaded with personality. We enjoyed posing for pictures, hearing the "backstories," feeding them and just plain communing with these gentle creatures. Back again for our annual trip. Went 1/14/22, Wes was our guide. We stacked up the biggest pile of pork ever! They focus on safety and making sure all the hunters are comfortable with each situation. Only after I committed to hiring them did I figure out that we were a mismatch. But still I thought it would result in a good trip and be a positive experience. It became clear to me after arriving in Italy that they were at least as unhappy with me. I was supposed to be transferred over to a local rep in Italy who would help me with problems, but I only heard from her just over 24 hours after arriving in Italy, and too late to help me after one of their guides no-showed. (The guide scrambled and got me a replacement just over an hour late). I never again heard from Mr and Mrs Italy's US based reps, not even a "welcome home, how was the trip?" email at the end. That's one clear way to tell me not to call them in the future. I believe their demographic is people who want to describe in broad outlines the kind of trip that they're looking for, and then are fairly passive and happy to do what they're told. It's great, I guess, if you aren't interested in doing any research on your own and want someone else to plan everything. Once you describe your interests, the remainder of the process is inflexible and not well designed to accommodate your feedback. I should say that three of the guides they provided me were great, and one was still good. The guides can really make or break a vacation, so this is a big positive.See more..
