This is a great place to see an entertaining show in a historical setting that has had people like Oscar Wilde, WC Fields, Barrymore, and many others grace its stage. I went with my mom and sister to see Legends Live On - what a fantastic show! There weren’t too many seats together to a Saturday show when we purchased tickets on Friday so I recommend checking out their schedule and getting tickets early. AMC Theaters Colonial 18 image
Like a lot of people I know, I had written off going to the movies. Had to get there early for a seat, people talking on cellphones, lack of food other than candy and popcorn. but there was a movie I really wanted to see on the big screen, so we walked up to the ticket booth. I soon learned that not only had most of the people around us already purchased their tickets online, they also had a reserved seat. I whipped out my phone, bought two tickets, reserved two seats, and went in. Stadium seating so there no one will block your view. They recline too, and are very comfortable. The food is varied with something for every mood, and the drink machine has over 100 choices. This place is great and the only theater we will go to! Reserved Stadium Seats is the way to go! Studio Movie Grill (Duluth) image
We went out of town and this Movie Theatre was near our hotel. We went to see a movie not realizing what type of theatre it was. It is an experience if you haven't done it before definitely should try it. I would prefer to be able to buy my own popcorn before the movie; other than that it was an overall good experience. The layout of the lobby is a tight squeeze, to the right are the tickets self service or purchase from an attendant to the left is the bar and open area. See more..

    - Great Concert Venue
    Thursday: 11:30 AM - 12:00 AM Theaters
    The Georgia Theatre image
I came for a concert right after a Georgia football game and it was a great experience. I think this was the theater where some of the original artists from Athens help their concerts when they were not so famous. The concert venue is downtown and walking distance to a lot of other nightlife after a concert. There is a bar and restaurant on the rooftop with some great pulled pork sandwiches. The venue looks like it was converted from a movie theater. I had a great experience here. See more..

The theatre is a little small, but this doesn't effect the quality of the sound or show. I love strolling through the rooms and hallways. My recommendation when visiting this place, bring someone with you who is either from Cumming or went to school here. The pictures and their stories, will make it a night to remember. See more..

The Imperial Theatre is noted in the National Register as critical to the character of the Broad Street Historic District. At ninety-two years old, with its immutable history, Edwardian style structure and current function it is the only medium size traditional proscenium theatre capable of flying scenery in the Augusta area, and for this reason it is a critical component of the infrastructure for area performing arts groups. It is the only performing arts theatre within a 150-mile radius that connects artists and audience members to historic social entertainment by providing a gracious and historic setting for all area citizens. Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater image
We were looking for a weekend get away from Metro Atlanta and decided to head north. My kids didn’t see a movie in a drive-in movie so we went to this one as the reviews were generally good. We arrived as they opened so we had a good parking spot (general admission) . Before the movie families played frisbee, soccer, baseball and football on the green in front of the screen. People brought chairs, air mattresses, blankets to put on or near their vehicles. The workers were friendly and helpful. Remember the radio is set to 95.9 FM for movie audio. They had typical concessions for sale ( we got popcorn and pretzels) . It is definitely a relaxing atmosphere I’d recommend if you are in the area. See more..

If you plan to eat from their concession make sure you bring cash. I noticed a $47 charge from the theater so when I went up there to investigate. After waiting almost 45 minutes they were finally able to pull up my receipt. I found out that the waitress reprinted my receipt and gave herself a REALLY nice tip and forged my signature. Its been two weeks since it was reported and I'm still waiting for my refund. I called today to speak to the supervisor who originally helped me and he would't come to the phone. I'm not sure if they're all in on this scam. I called the corporate office and the better business beau today. Someone is giving me back my money. So my advice to all is to bring cash. See more..

Last evening, my husband and I had the distinct pleasure of seeing the first of four “in concert” one night performances of classic musicals this season. The format was excellent: a 36-piece on stage orchestra led by a wonderful conductor and a cast that was superbly impressive. Great voices, talented acting and choreography. We have been to many, many full productions of musicals and operas in London, New York and last month at LaScala Opera House in Milan, Italy. The Atlanta Lyric production stood up with the best of them. It’s just a shame it was a one-night-only gig. But there are three more “in concert” productions scheduled and we plan to be at all of them! Below are photos of the two wonderful leading ladies. See more..

This small theatre is adjacent to the Cobb Co. Civic Center, so is easy to find and has ample parking. (There is a short walk from the parking to the entrance). The theatre is designed so seating slopes upward. The arrangement keeps all the seating close to the stage and all seats are great. February and March for the past two years have featured some of the favorite "oldies". We just saw Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits) and have signed up for Chubby Checker, Jay and the Americans, the Platters and the Coasters. Autographing is available quickly after each show. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. You feel like you are spending an evening with old friends. We found out too late last year about this special "gem" and only got in on The Four Lads. We had such a good time, we booked a room at the Marriott just a block away! The people are easy to work with, just call and pick your seats! See more..

A friend of mine once said "Newnan Theatre is better than it deserves to be." Not to knock the theatre, but it's a surprising gem for a small town in suburban (or rural in some people's eyes) Atlanta. It's a great facility and I'm amazed by the talent that exists in this town. They have a nice mix of shows from family friendly to edgier shows I've watched some of the church-going old ladies walk out of saying "I'll come back for A Christmas Carol". Definitely worth going to, but read the description before you go in with any preconceived notions about anything but talent beyond your expectations. See more..

The Hall also routinely receives superb accolades from the noted artists it annually presents. In addition to a world-renowned concert series, Spivey Hall has an innovative approach to education-outreach, which has resulted in the formation of the award-winning Spivey Hall Children's Choir and the newer Spivey Hall Young Artists.
