4.5Mountain Valley Farm(238 reviews) - Fantastic Family Farm! We call it The Farm!! Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Farms
I have been visiting Mountain Valley Farm since 2011. My wife and I go on a regular basis. We cannot say enough about the butter, cheese and all the meat products and of course ice cream we are addicted to. We have taken friends with us to visit what Cindy and I simply refer to as The Farm. The staff and owner's are always the best and so helpful every time we visit. The Farm is like Family to us.See more..
4.5Burt's Farm(237 reviews) - Beautiful but not very handicap friendly. Farms
Enjoyed the farm. Beautiful place and good prices on pumpkins. Great scenery on the hay ride! I did find it unfortunate that there were virtually no places to sit. I saw several older people looking miserable because they were tired. My friend has cancer and was out of breath walking around the place. Fortunately her son was able to convince one of the employees to loan her a folding chair so she could have a place to rest and she was able to enjoy our time there but I heard others saying they were just going to leave because they would be unable to navigate the place and see everything.See more..
4.5Panorama Orchards & Farm Market(227 reviews) - Beautiful apples and delish baked items Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Farms
Stopped in Panorama for the first time this month. I've been coming to Ellijay/Blue Ridge for 20 years and can't believe I haven't come here. It was so nice to walk and and not have wall to wall people and feel like it was overcommercialized. This was a great store to get all things apples. We enjoyed the selection of baked items, the apples and hot apple cider. The sweet lady working the pie area and cider station was super sweet and full of smiles. SO nice to find everything we wanted/needed without feeling herded in and back out. This will be a must visit everytime we come and will recommend it to friends and family.See more..

4.5Mountain Fresh Creamery(81 reviews) - Cool, tasty treat while you rest your tired feet! Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Farms
Having heard rumors that this was the place to get "REAL" ice cream, we stopped in for a bit of refreshment. The round silo shaped building front serves the ice cream and shake treats. The larger building contains milk, eggs, cheeses, and ice cream in containers of varying size for take home. On our visit one lady was working dispensing the Silo ice cream orders. Once ordered, she prepared and served those orders before going to the next customer. Smart move since ice cream starts melting rather quickly with the afternoon sun. Ample picnic style tables are available and clean.See more..

My family came here and we picked July blackberries that were huge! 2.50 a lb. we got the kids .50 each little food bags to feed the goats. They also saw chickens, a donkey, and a huge pig. They did the gem mining last year and it is a cool experience - they each found a handful of pretty gems. The store is nice full of preserves, candy, fudge and icecream. 4.5Byron Herbert Reece Farm and Heritage Center(46 reviews) - A Glimpse Into The Past Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Historic Sites • Points of Interest & Landmarks • Farms
Byron Herbert Reece was an award-winning poet and novelist who still saw his major life's calling to be tending his family's farm in a steep valley beside Wolf Creek in southern Appalachia. His farm has been beautifully preserved as a monument both to his literary achievements and to help people today learn about what life was like on a farm in the first half of the 20th century. Reece wrote: "From bits and shards in idle times I made these stories, shaped these rhymes May they engage some friendly tongue When I am past the reach of song." Many educational displays in the original farm buildings help guests understand the hardships and rewards of farm life in Appalachia.See more..

5.0Warbington Farms(28 reviews) - Took my grandma 90 years young Wednesday: Farms
Great day. The staff was very attentive and assisting with my 90-year-old grandma. They provided a chair so that she could comfortably feed the goats. We enjoyed the hayride and fed the cows bread. Very small relaxing atmosphere. We stayed a little over an hour and was plenty. Enjoyed watching the smaller children play on the play equipment. Will definitely come back to pick strawberries next year. Corn maze was too far away and she was not able with the Walker, but the staff offered to take her in the golf cart. This is not just a family business. This is our heart & home. We want to share it with you. "We are dedicated to bringing you products of the highest quality year round and providing your family with an experience of old-fashioned fun on the farm that will bring lasting memories." After working in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, Duncan Criscoe and his wife Angela decided it was time to begin a business that would offer high quality products at a reasonable price, but more than anything, bring back the customer experience that has been lost over the years. Every product that is offered by Crooked Pines Farm has been thoroughly researched and chosen based on the care and effort that went into the raising and harvesting of the product. Crooked Pines is the farm that has been in the family since 2006. The 82 acre tract is home to abundant wildlife. It has been carefully maintained to offer the wildlife every opportunity to thrive. It's a blessing to have the opportunity to use this tract to provide neighbors, friends and your family an experience of old-fashioned fun. We hope to be a part of your family traditions. We look forward to serving you when you visit our family farm. If you have any comments or product requests, please contact us and we will be happy to research your request and see if we can provide a product to meet your needs. 5.0Southern Grace Farms(12 reviews) - Loved everything about it Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Farms • Playgrounds • Farmers Markets
Loved everything about this place. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the farm and their produce. We picked strawberries and blueberries and were told that peaches and blackberries will be in soon so we will definitely be going back. The youpick prices are lower than anywhere else we've ever been. They have the best strawberry ice cream we've ever tried, an awesome country store that is more like a boutique with shirts, jewelry, gifts, toys, and anything you can imagine. They have an awesome playground for kids and it's free for customers. Another super important aspect for us...clean restrooms! We are so glad we found this place. It is in the middle of nowhere but it's definitely worth the drive!See more..

Every year for the past 2 years, right around mid November we've gone to Kackleberry Farm as a way to kick off our holiday season. For us, this is a mini vacation where nothing else matters. We drive out to the country, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a day to seriously just enjoy each other as a family. We leave our phones off and life outside of the farm doesn't exist. So much chaff now adays. Phones, emails, facebook and twitter... it all stops for the day. The staff is extremely friendly, and a bonus is the fire pits. Smores after a long day of playing is the perfect end to a perfect day for us. I love Kackleberry Farm!See more..
