We (my wife and I) have been here many times. This concert was the best. I purchased two VIP tickets. Dinner and parking was included. The dinner was selected personally by the artist. It included salad, the main course, dessert and wine. The wine was a red sangiovese and a white Pinot Grigio from the Bocelli Vineyard. The winery is run by the artist and his brother and has been in his family for over 150 years. The main course was Veal Oscar and it was delicious. I was very pleasantly surprised. Dessert was a parfait and it was decadent. There were Belgian chocolates at each place setting to take with you when you left to go to your seats. The concert itself was fabulous with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and a University of Georgia Chorus backing up the Artist. The sound system for this event was notably improved. The clarity of the sound on the floor level was outstanding. See more..

What a treat to have our GSTA conference in such a beautiful and historic setting! The meeting rooms were large, comfortable, and so pretty. The lights and decorations in the main hall were enchanting and I could envision this setting as a perfect venue for a wedding. With the Chattahoochee running behind the convention center, it was just perfect. See more..

Saw Buddy Dye in May. Arrived about 45 minutes before the show. Parking was no problem. They wand you like at the airport before entering. Very friendly and helpful people working there. Think our lawn chairs would be more comfortable than their seats, so will select lawn seating next time. Recommended. See more..

Bowen Center For The Arts image
We stopped into the Bowen Center for the Arts to see their "Enchanted Forests" Photography exhibition and competition. We spent about 30 minutes wandering through the historic "Rock Schoolhouse", marveling at the talents of the photographers with works on display. This venue is bright and calming at the same time, and it is a peaceful place to just browse. The gift store offers reasonably priced works of art which could make perfect gifts. I purchased a signed copy of, "Mountains and Waterfalls of North Georgia", which is both a beautiful coffee table book and a great guide book. The displays in the Bowen Center change throughout the year, so their is always something new and interesting to see. Admission is free. It is worth a stop if you have some time while you are in the area. They also offer art classes, and the venue can be rented for private functions. See more..
