We had such fun taste testing all the goodies for sale! They not only have pecans but many other types of nuts as well as an amazing ice cream bar! The wares are so very good it was hard to pick just three things to purchase .... seriously! Not too far off of I 75 and well worth the couple miles to get to. We actually saw a couple of tour buses from Ontario pull in while we were there!See more..

4.5Adcock Pecan Company(134 reviews) - Opposing Rebuttal to the disgruntled customer on Trip Advisory. Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops
We're from Tifton originally but live in Athens, GA for the past almost 40 years, but everytime we go to Tifton we stop at Adcock Pecan Co. we have friends here in Athens that love their Peach Preserves & has us bring them a case of them lots of times when they know we're going. i personally love their Fig Preserves & just ate almost the last of my last jar so i went on the site to order some as its going to be the end of next month before we can get down to Tifton & i saw the one disgruntled review that popped up on Trip Advisory. i cant address their complaint but i know my wife loves to buy pecan from Adcock & has never had a complaint in all of the years she has purchase them. It is a great place to stop & shop & that's the reason there are so many 5-star reviews but the review was wrong, as they aren't all 5-star, i saw several 4-star as well. my opinion is you cant please everybody but Adcock pleases most people. There is a wide variety of merchants here - small shops, chain stores, a grocer, bistros, and chain restaurants. And it is outdoors, not a mall, so you can get fresh air. I don't go in any stores except for one - Barnes and Noble. That's why I love the Forum. My wife brings me here, leaves me at Barnes and Noble to read books and drink coffee, and I have a few hours of peace. I love this place.See more..

As you enter the store you’ll see mostly all vintage or antiques from way back. As you enter the store selling floor there you’ll find different food products and gift items. In the far back there are beautiful clothing items for sale. Throughout the store there are old pictures from yesteryear and many hand made items that you can view on the upper shelving. Today the store has an incredible 50,000 square feet of retail space which is hard to imagine just standing out front. As a family-owned business, Alexander’s maintains a set of shared traditions and values deeply rooted in the history of the store. Alexander’s is more than just a store. Stopped in while checking out the town of Covington yesterday with my family. I was met by the most lovely young lady who I assume is the owner of this establishment. She guided me through the tasting process and led me to a few that she thought I would like. I was overwhelmed by the number of flavors and styles of oils and vinegars. They also have a lot of other tasty goods to sample and purchase including jams, salsas etc. Left about $70 lighter but with some delicious goods that I am sure to enjoy in the near future. Loved the little recipe cards as well that they provided for inspiration. Loved the store, the hospitality and the town I will return.See more..
4.5Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World(45 reviews) - Ask for Mark in archery! Thursday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Speciality & Gift Shops
I know very little about archery but I wanted to get into it. I’ve done it before but knew NOTHING about it. Well I asked for someone who had knowledge bout it and I got more than that. Mark knows what he is doing and even helped me with my stance and best way to draw and release. I knew absolutely nothing about what kind of arrows I needed and Mark was more than willing to help me. You’re prob thinking I paid top dollar but no I didn’t. When I had a question bout an item, he would recommend one that was in the exact price range I wanted to be in. So no he wasn’t out for my money. There were other people that would come up and have questions and he would happily answer them with no hesitation. He spend about an hour or an hour and a half with me helping me and answering all my questions even if they didn’t make sense. Mark if you read this, THANK YOU! See more..
