A Day on the River in Euharlee

Wow....this was our 1st time kayaking & my husband & I absolutely LOVED it!! We did this the 1st week in June (2015) on a Saturday afternoon. We will be back again! It's SO calming & relaxing! Anyone who says they can't find the time to do this with a your family or friends (just take a deep breath....rent your kayak ....then let the beauty of this amazing trip down the Etowah River, give you an amazing adventure!) but don't forget the sunscreen & a hat.

    Tubing Fun!
    We rented tubes here with the kids and 5 and 7. They supply life jackets, mandatory ages 13 and under. You can rent a cooler ($10.00, blowup), can rope to tubes. You can get rope to tie little ones to you and there are bottoms in the tubes. We were dropped at the Etowah River, advised pick up point and small island to stop at if wanted to. We did, it was cool, had sandwiches and sodas that we packed. Trip is about 3-3.5 hrs. And abut of a climb out of River. Staff was great and price was reasonable!

    Historic point of interest and fun kayaking
    Really enjoyed our kayak experience. We just showed up and everything was handled expertly. Highly recommend and you will need reservations on the weekend.
