Good bike rentals for the battlefield
We rented bikes and road the battlefield. Rentals was inexpensive and bikes of goo quality. It is a great battlefield to ride!

Great Fun, Excellent Bicycles, Wonderful Owner
The proprietor is also a local historian so our ride with him was not only a pleasant ride through beautiful scenery at the battlefield, but also loaded with a verbal recount of what, where, and with whom. We highly recommend the experience!

Tour of Battlefield from a different perspective...
Our family of five went on a bike tour of the battlefield with David as our guide. The bikes were very comfortable. The route is mostly downhill or flat. It was a great way to learn about the battle that took place, as David is very knowledgeable about the Civil War. We would recommend visiting the Visitor Center first if you can to get a picture of what you'll be touring beforehand. If you're unable to beforehand, then definitely after. The National Park system has done a great job helping us understand what took place on our behalf.
