5.0Historic Savannah Theatre(3.301 reviews) - Great place to experience a fabulous night out in a historic setting Thursday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Theaters
This is a great place to see an entertaining show in a historical setting that has had people like Oscar Wilde, WC Fields, Barrymore, and many others grace its stage. I went with my mom and sister to see Legends Live On - what a fantastic show! There weren’t too many seats together to a Saturday show when we purchased tickets on Friday so I recommend checking out their schedule and getting tickets early. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the area as well for pre or post show.See more..
5.0Anna Ruby Falls(2.845 reviews) - Worth the Hike Thursday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Waterfalls
This is a short half mile paved hike. It does have a steep incline near the end, so we recommend pacing yourself. The falls are beautiful and definitely worth it. We did see a large age range hiking. I personally would not recommend this for toddlers, as there are steep drop offs on the sides of the trails. Though we did see several toddlers. I also would only recommend strollers or wheelchairs for those who are physically strong to push up a steep incline, or who plan to take breaks on the way up. There are benches along the path. There is a nice gift shop and friendly staff on the premises. It probably took us 30 minutes to hike up, view, and hike back down. They do charge $5 per per adult.See more..
If you’re looking for an amazing time rafting with friends or family, I can’t stress enough how much I recommend Rolling Thunder River Company in GA. I took my boyfriend and our closest friends for his birthday. They were able to accommodate our group of 7 to stay together, they were clear about us all needing a certain footwear ahead of time so we were all prepared. They were extremely knowledgeable and my friends and I felt extremely safe out there. We also had the most AMAZING guide, Nessy! He knew exactly what to do at all times, he kept us all laughing, and he truly made our trip the best it could be. They also take such great photos of your party and sell them for a very reasonable price. Thank you so much RTRC and Nessy!! Shout out to Quiznos too for the extra pic we got :)See more..
5.0National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center(2.276 reviews) - Great trip for our church Outing Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Military Museums • History Museums
The National Infantry Museum emphasizes the values that define the Infantryman, as well as the nation he protects: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. It preserves and displays one of the greatest collections of military artifacts in the world, but it is a museum of people, not things. As a visitor, you will meet the Infantryman face to face and join him on his journey. You will come to understand why an Infantryman does what he does, why he puts himself in harm’s way in defense of an idea and you will leave transformed, just as the Infantry transforms the man into the Soldier. The 190,000-square-foot museum opened in June 2009 on a 200-acre tract of hardwoods and pines just outside the gates of the Fort Benning Maneuver Center of Excellence.See more..

This was a wonderful adventure with teenagers and adults. We had a group of 7, ages 11 to 55, and from the time we got there until the time we left, the staff was very attentive. Kayley and Jonathan did a great job of keeping us up on our current riddles of the day and jokes while teaching us the dos and don’t of ziplining. Joshua and Nolan were awesome at making sure we stayed safe. If ever in Helen for a visit this is a definite must do for some fun for all. Great job Sunburst Adventures staff!See more..

5.0Georgia Tour Company(752 reviews) - Such a fun and interesting way to see TWD Senoia locations Thursday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Walking Tours • Movie & TV Tours
We took the "Senoia on the Big Screen Tour. What a fun way to see not only the charming town of Senoia, but also filming locations for The Walking Dead. Our tour guide was a lot of fun, knowledgeable and has appeared in the show as a walker and as a patient in the Commonwealth. We saw the iconic "pudding house", the house Carl, Rick and Michonne met up in after the fall of the prison, Rick's, Carol's, Aaron's and Deanna's houses in Alexandria, the Governor's "Woodbury", among many others. You will recognize most and be surprised by others. It was a great to be with other fans and hear the fun antidotes of our guide who enlightened us to what it was like working on set. 5.0Pin Point Heritage Museum(562 reviews) - A Look into the Unknown Thursday: Spent 1-2 hours History Museums
When we pulled up to the Pin Point Heritage Museum, we were a little taken aback since the museum looked so small. When we entered the museum, we were greeted with several friendly faces and warm, "Welcomes!" Since we pre-bought our tickets online, we were able to begin a tour with David shortly after arriving. David was incredibly knowledgable about Pin Point's history, the science behind the industry, and included a discussion about the racial history and context surrounding Pin Point. The tour was thorough with ample time to read the infographics in each building. We ended our experience by watching the documentary about the people and history of Pin Point. Overall, the experience was a great addition to our trip to Savannah and David's knowledge about the property made the experience even more worthwhile. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn more about the unique history of the East Coast.See more..

5.0Webb Military Museum(521 reviews)from $10.26 - Vast collection of remarkable war memorabilia Thursday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Military Museums
The Webb Military Museum, particularly for the admission price, is absolutely worth a couple hours of your time if you're interested in anything from the Revolutionary War all the way to Desert Storm. The proprietor is profoundly knowledgeable and can answer any question you might have...and some you'll not have thought of. If you're in Savannah, curious about the personal history of some of our nation's bravest, and have an hour or two to devote, I heartily recommend Mr. Webb's museum. I was absolutely and pleasantly floored.See more..
I can not recommend the ziplining at Historic Banning Mills highly enough. The zip lines are fast, thrilling, and give you nice views of the scenic environment. The guides were awesome!! They were helpful, personable, and made you feel comfortable with the equipment and activity. My only warning is, they have different bridges you need to cross while you are doing the tour. They were challenging and a bit unnerving for me, but others in our group seemed to enjoy them. All-in-all I say if you are in the Atlanta area and want some outdoor fun and excitement, give these guys your consideration!!!See more..
5.0Boundary Waters Resort & Marina(488 reviews) - Excellent Boat Rental at Boundary Waters Marina Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Waterskiing & Jetskiing • Gear Rentals • Boat Rentals • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
Excellent boat rental Marina. They have a huge collection of rental boats from fish and ski and wake boats to pontoons and tri-toons of varying sizes. All are in great shape and have great power. We rented a tri-toon with a 200hp Suzuki outboard and the boat couldn’t have been better or handled more easily. Flew across the water. Really fun to drive. Doing a multi-day rental lets you have the boat to enjoy all day long into a lovely sunset. The Marina staff is friendly, courteous and very helpful. Very easy rental. I have rented and chartered boats around the country and this has to be one of the best marina facilities I have ever seen. Just the best.See more..
I am not a history buff by any means. I enjoy tours and learning and so this was completely new to me. We had a potentially more unique experience because we were a military entity that drove and got a tour but I have to say this is amazing. A large group of us from a military school in Alabama drove out here for a field trip. We had been studying military history and this was a capstone to the studies. We arrived by bus at the visitor's center. They have so much to learn and see in there for the little time we had. Weapons from the ages, walls of timelines, and artifacts from the time period, as well as a little shop. We moved outside and were guided through a terrain model of the wars as they happened. Specifically with Bragg and how he lost the area due to his decisions and bad communication with his subordinates. It is interesting to see things in person when it comes to military tactics on a broad leadership perspective. We visited lots of sites and got to see how forces move, key terrain, avenues of approach, and the big picture on some of these battles. The atmosphere of this place is beautiful and the design and layout of the displays and guides are amazing for someone to learn. We only spent one day here but I can imagine you could spend many and learn a lot about this battle and assets during this time frame in our countries history. I would recommend this to anyone and not just history buffs. Even if you don't subscribe to history, just walk around and enjoy nature in this historical property.See more..

5.0Taste of Thomasville Food Tour(364 reviews) - Excellent food at all restaurants and History part of the tour amazing Thursday: Food Tours
My favorite part of the experience was trying food from different restaurants. My favorite was the first stop, Jonah's Fish and Grits, it was delicious . The walking tour was amazing to learn that so many famous people have vacationed in this small Georgia town. Diane did a fantastic job giving short explanations of the restaurants, keeping our tour moving at a nice pace to enjoy the food, and walk through the town at a leisurely pace to tell us some of the history behind the historical buildings we walked by on the way to each restaurant. Excellent tour!! I highly recommend staying after the tour to enjoy some leisurely shopping and experience one of the restaurants for dinner.See more..

5.0Skydive Georgia(310 reviews) - GO BIG - GREAT SKYDIVING EXPERIENCE!!! THE BEST I'VE EXPERIENCED Thursday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Adrenaline & Extreme Tours
Amazing adventure!! Super fun! 1. Skydive Georgia has an outstanding staff. They keep energy high, attentive, and informative. 2. I've jumped tandem a few times previously at another location, and while incredibly fin, the overall experience was not nearly as complete as this was. 3. Took my son for his 30th birthday and they definitely made him feel special. 4. everything about this jump was safe; the plane, tandem jumper, instructions, etc. 5. My tandem jumper, Jake (from state farm) was absolutely the best!!! He made it fun, tailored the jump to my comfort level while adding a couple of extra experiences during the jump. He is fun, detailed, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended. 6. Go BIG. The 14,000-foot jump is well worth the extra money! 7. I plan the get licensed at this location. They are fantastic!See more..
5.0Okefenokee Adventures(303 reviews) - LOVED our tour Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Sightseeing Tours
We went on a Friday before a holiday weekend, President’s Day. As the Foster state park we were staying in on the other side of the swamp was booked up for their boat tours, we decided to do the 1.25 hour drive to get a tour over here and I’m so glad we did. We reserved a private boat tour, however that was completely unnecessary as there were almost no visitors to the park on the day that we were there. We didn’t really even need a reservation. Our tour guide was great and gave lots of details about the swamp and its history. He went out of his way to show us specific vegetation that we were interested in. It was also fun to see how different the side of the swamp was from the western side, so make sure you visit both sides of the swamp. He also gave us some nice info about the history of the US park service and the fish and wildlife service. I’d say this was a must-do tour if you are visiting the area. This group was also great about masking during COVID.See more..

Recently my wife and I along with our daughter, her husband and our five year old Granddaughter spent a Saturday afternoon at Crane Creek. When we entered the tasting room we were greeted by the friendly staff. Having been here many times we already knew we wanted a bottle of Brasstown Red (Also highly recommend Hellbender Red). Crane Creek has a wide selection of award winning wines so you can’t go wrong no matter which one you choose. Nothing beats enjoying a great bottle of wine on the outdoor patio while admiring the beautiful vineyards and the lake with the mountains as the backdrop. 5.0VIP Southern Tours(265 reviews) - Experience local wineries like a wine connoisseur Thursday: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM Wine Tours & Tastings
July 27, 2021 We had an amazing VIP private tour with Eduardo as our guide and sommelier. His knowledge inspired us (group of 3) to feel like experts ourselves when it came to what our palates expect and what foods pair best with our preferences. Our favorite part of this VIP experience was learning that we really do love types of wine that we didn’t think we would like before we embarked on the tour. The charcuterie boards for lunch supported a hands on, sensory experience to fully know how wines pair with foods best. The cost of the VIP tour was well worth it. We highly recommend this tour if you are also interested in learning more about your palate and gaining knowledge never known before about how to experience wine like a pro! Thanks Eduardo!See more..

Don't be intimidated by the 400+ stairs. I got winded a few times, but it was a moderate challenge (I mean, my calves are still sore a day later, but overall it wasn't horrible). And the view was worth it. I went early in the morning and found it not crowded and very peaceful.See more..
Our GPS took us around Lake Rabun to get there. In the middle of winter, the roads were half mud and half snow. Absolutely breathtaking views around the lake, but the road there was narrow and curvy. Once we arrived, there was parking for only a few vehicles. A small staircase up led us to the falls. However, actual stairs were only 1% of the journey. Short trip (maybe 30 minutes round trip) and the views made this one of my favorite falls out of the 10 we saw this vacation. Highly recommend. (Angel and Panther Falls is on the route if you have a few hours. Beautiful as well. Must more strenuous hike though.)See more..
