Last year while vacationing from Virginia, my wife and I visited Alpine Scenic Jeep Tours. The tour that we purchased was a four hour, private tour of Corkscrew Pass and the Red Mountains. It was unbelievable! The Red Mountains were absolutely beautiful. At that time, I remember telling my wife that we would return again some day. Little did I know that we would back again this year! After returning home last year and describing the tour and the sights we saw, we invited a couple of family members to share this year what we had experienced. This year again, we asked for a four hour private tour. Last years tour guide was a great guide. Both fun and informative. This years guide was ‘Rob’. Rob proved to be just as good as last year. If not more! He provided tons of information along the trail. He helped with photo suggestions and helped out with group pics as well. And with Rob’s suggestions, we were even able to visit other areas this year that we missed last year. With Rob as our guide, the tour was not just a vanilla, pre rehearsed presentation. There was something to experience around every corner! We talked about the area, our personal lives and our families. At the end of the day, we had been presented one of the most beautiful areas we had ever seen. We had experienced tons of fun. And we felt like we had made a special friend in Rob.See more..

It was a unbelievable experience. Experiencing the wild life, and the nature. She was so friendly and informative, and so kind and patient the whole time. We actually got to see a wild moose in the middle of our drive!! It was so awesome!! This was a great experience. The ATV’s are easy to maneuver and the sights that you will see will blow you away. I would recommend mornings as we got caught in an afternoon shower and it made it very COLD as you get to the top of the mountains. Be very cognizant of your location on the GPS. There are tons of turn offs and you can easily end up down the “wrong path.” I put that in quotes because regardless of where you go you will see some beautiful scenery - waterfalls, animals, etc. I would also recommend bringing neck gaiters or something because the dust that gets kicked up as people drive will bother you if you don’t have something covering your face. They also help with the coolness as you ascend to the various locations.See more..
This was such an amazing experience! I am a photographer and we went on a private Alta Lakes Tour during sunset with another couple to shoot and the views were incredible. Neither of us had been snowmobiling before so it was a great first experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the ATV tour around the 3100 acre Lucky 8 Bison Ranch. Our guide, Emily, led us up, down and around this beautiful elevated area. The ranch now has about 400 head of bison. We got close (and stayed in our vehicles) and learned about their habits, history in the US and watched them in their environment. Emily also took us to vista lookout points. Each couple/family drove their own 2 or 4 seater Polaris vehicle. Driving at a moderate speed took some concentration. The tour was all of 3 hours. But other than hiking in the forests, I can think of no better way (outside of winter) to get a feel for the landscape and ranch environment of the Steamboat Springs area.See more..

The sleigh ride and dinner was an absolute hit! We’d read so many reviews for different places, but the locals recommended 4 Eagle and it was perfect. Like stepping into a Hallmark Christmas movie! The food was delicious. The atmosphere superb. You could tell the owners took pride in seeing their guests have a good time. There was a live musician that was talented and very entertaining during dinner. The fire pit outside with s’mores was also a great touch. We rented three Slingshots for a day of teambuilding. GOA was great to work with from start to finish. Angelica was super fun on the phone and made sure we got all the discounts and tax exemptions in place so our small group could afford this adventure. On the day of the rental, GOA worked extra hard to get us quickly on the road as fast as possible so we may beat a big Motorcycle Rally and road closure in Woodland Park. Everyone in our group all had a fantastic time that day. The Slingshots were a blast! Everything was spotlessly clean from the vehicles to the helmets to the office facilities. We booked the half-day intermediate adventure and had an outstanding time! Starting with a 7ft waterfall, this rafting experience offered ample excitement and thrills as we splashed our way down Clear Creek. Our guide, Joe, did an excellent job instructing and navigating us through the class III/IV rapids. The water temperature was brisk (mid-50*s), but most rafters were comfortable in swimsuits and dry-fit shirts. If your feet get chilled easily, I highly recommend you consider waterproof or river shoes as your feet will be in a couple inches of water the majority of the ride. Although this experience is listed as intermediate, prior experience is not required and I recommend anyone interested in a whitewater rafting experience consider this excursion.See more..

Jerry was our jeep driver and we were his only passengers. He started the tour early, offered us a blanket, and told us it would be best to keep the top up due to the sun. Covid 19 in August 12th, we left at 9:20 am. Jerry was excellent and extremely knowledgeable about mining and area mines. We learned about mines and milling. The scenery was breathtaking. At times the rock roads were very bumpy. We learned about the mining process, history of the area, animals and saw marmets, and a baby moose. We went to the ruins of an old mining town (ghost town). First off, our guide Smitty was the nicest most knowledgeable guy in the area. We booked the transportation shuttle to the Geneva lake trailhead. He dropped us off at 2:20 after one of the most picturesque atv rides of my life. From there we hiked up to the lake which in my opinion nothing can beat these views. Every turn was a moment to be blown away by all the surrounding peaks. We got to the lake, which has massive trout, relaxed and had lunch then hiked back down to get picked up at 5:30. Setting up the reservation was quick and easy, and Tony and the staff were quite friendly and knowledgeable about the area. My girlfriend and I rented a side-by-side for a full day and were able to ride more than 60 miles of trails throughout the national park. We had an amazing time here! Our guide was very helpful and patient and the ATVs performed well. The trails are mostly in the woods with a few places that open up for some photo ops. There are numerous old mines and structures along the way. The trails were very dusty so I recommend a wind breaker or something to keep the dirt off you. We took this tour on a whim after planning a visit to the area and learning that sometimes the dunes can treat visitors to unexpected sandstorms. Initially we had envisioned climbing the dunes or sand boarding, however we stumbled upon Mountain Master Off-Road Tours and decide to book the Dunes and Falls Tour. Our tour guide was Kyle, the owner and everyone agreed this was a favorite from our vacation. My wife and I rented an ATV from Creede ATV for a half day. We were extremely pleased with Mary and Mark who scheduled our adventure. They allowed us to slip our reservation one day due to high winds. The rate was very reasonable and the equipment operated flawlessly.
