We did a full day of rock climbing and repelling in Golden, CO with Ryan as our guide from Evergreen Wilderness. It was a fantastic experience we will never forget. We are a family of 3 with a high school daughter and two parents on the far side of the 40's. Ryan was very accommodating to our individual levels of experience and comfort. He was great at explaining the technical side of what he was doing with all the gear so that we knew what was important and that felt safe. The location was beautiful and had many different climbs and repels we could try. Ryan was very personable, patient and professional. He made it clear what we needed to bring. He also was able to provide all the gear we needed. All 3 of us highly recommend Ryan and Evergreen Wilderness.See more..

My husband and I had the awesome pleasure of a sunset hike with Brianna and two of her llamas (Beau and Chinook)! We had the best time learning about llamas and life in Colorado with Brianna. She is a wonderful and considerate guide who went above and beyond to show us a beautiful time. In addition to our trek, she took professional photos of us, showed us around her property, let us meet her other animal friends, and gave us a cute surprise at the end! Trip was as advertised and just a ton of fun with Nick and Tanner. After a scenic drive (about 45 minutes) to the Upper Colorado River we enjoyed a scenic trip with some late season white water. We had ample opportunities to take photos, swim, and two stops to walk the shore. Nick and Tanner had lots of jokes and were knowledgeable about the history of the area, wildlife, and plants. Loved the convenience of being able to leave from Silverthorne, leaving all the driving up to locals. The company photographer took some great shots of us on the river and the photo package was reasonably priced. We took this tour on a whim after planning a visit to the area and learning that sometimes the dunes can treat visitors to unexpected sandstorms. Initially we had envisioned climbing the dunes or sand boarding, however we stumbled upon Mountain Master Off-Road Tours and decide to book the Dunes and Falls Tour. Our tour guide was Kyle, the owner and everyone agreed this was a favorite from our vacation. Kyle went out of his way to make sure everyone in our party was enjoying the tour, and he shared so much history of the area with us. My husband and I went to Vallecito Lake camping for 4 nights. We saw people on the lake on kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards. It looked so fun! We called Over the Top Adventures and they delivered two SUP’s (and gear) RIGHT to our campsite! Gabe was really friendly and helpful. When we were finished, he picked all the gear up. We rented the boards for three full days. It was really awesome because we could go out in the morning, come back for lunch, and then go out again in the afternoon or evening and avoid any rain storms. I went to the climber's coffee Naked Edge holds every sunday from 8 to Noon, and it was really cool! I met some other climbers and had cookies and coffee on my way to climb in Eldo. This is an awesome place and resource for climbers/visitors in Eldo. They have guidebooks, shoe and pad and helmet rentals, and FREE ELDO WATER. 5 stars will return to this little shop.See more..
