Excellent service. On a Saturday night, with social distancing in place, this was a very crowded choice for dinner for 5 (we had no ressies). The hostess was honest and accommodating , she suggested we do drinks while we waited for our table. Our waitress was wonderful. Menu is mainly pizzas, but they are REALLY good. We tried 3 different pizzas, 2 veggie one with meat and all were delicious.See more..

Wood's High Mountain Distillery was born on a raft trip in the Grand Canyon over 20 years ago. While sipping whiskey in one of the most inspiring places on earth, PT Wood decided to pursue the dream of handcrafting his own spirits in downtown Salida. The dream soon became reality and PT and his brother, Lee partnered together to make it happen. We found our current home and after major renovations, installed “Ashley” our antique 1880s era German copper pot still. Wood’s launched November 13, 2012. In 2018, Ashley was given some much-needed help with the addition of two new 2400-liter stills and a 20-plate column. Currently, the distillery produces American Malt Whiskeys, Alpine Rye Whiskey, three styles of gin, Elderflower Liqueur, and Colorado Potato Vodka along with other ongoing projects. The Tasting Room is open daily and tours are available by appointment. You can choose from product samplers, craft cocktails, bottle sales and Wood’s merchandise in a casual, fun environment.See more..

4.5Woody Creek Distillery(38 reviews) - Excellent spirits and atmosphere Monday: Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries
Woody Creek distillery has fantastic spirits in a beautiful facility with friendly and attentive staff. After we tasted flights of three spirits, (potato vodka, gin, rye) we just had to have an old fashioned. I particularly liked the one that came with a piece of bacon on a skewer. We bought bottles of summer seasonal blue gin and 55% ABV single batch rye to take home and were pleased to learn our tastings were complimentary. We arrived early, so our drinks were at happy-hour prices, too. This is definitely a place to visit again.See more..

5.0State 38 Distilling(16 reviews) - Tour and Tasting Monday: Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries
This place distills agave. They make a Gin, a Vodka, and a Reposado. The tour is really interesting, detailing how this infant business has developed, taken off, and is growing growing growing. Each purchase of a bottle of liquor gets you a tasting. They are selling local Golden artwork in the tasting room, which rotates frequently. We loved what was there so much that we came home with a painting. The spirits are so good, you really want to support the local business, and skip Applejack from now on. Well, at least for the Reposado.See more..
4.5Elevation 5003 Distillery(16 reviews) - Fun friendly place with some great spirits Spent < 1 hour Distilleries
This was our fourth stop of the day following the Fort Collins locations on the Colorado spirits trail , the location almost seems odd for a distillery in the middle of a little shopping plaza. However stop on it and enjoy some really great spirits and mixed drinks, if you get hungry there is a great little bistro next door and all in all it is truly a fun and delicious place to visit. My only complaint and I dont think there was really anything they could do about it since the arrival of customers is very hard to predict but with only one person working at a time and after us having a lot of others pour in it took a very long time to get our drinks and then check out. That being said we were very happy to have visited and had some great drinksSee more..
4.5KJ Wood Distillery(13 reviews) - Stop by for a drink! Spent 1-2 hours Distilleries
We drove by here for 2 days and finally decided to stop by to try it out and we were impressed! We tasted the whiskeys and my husband (the whiskey drinker) really enjoyed his Old Fashioned. I had a vodka drink similar to a cucumber margarita and found it to be a great light, summer drink. Our bartender just moved here from Chicago and in addition to making great drinks, was very knowledgeable in the spirits world - we really enjoyed chatting with him. We also enjoyed the drinks so much, we ended up purchasing a bottle of each of the Whiskeys to take back to Denver with us. They don't serve food - but if you enjoy a good drink and local spirits, I definitely recommend stopping here.See more..
This place is one of my favorites and I highly recommend it if you're in the Englewood/Broadway area. It's the only distillery in the country that makes Aquavit so you're getting to experience some really unique cocktails. All of the drinks are handcrafted with really high-quality ingredients and the owners are often around and more than willing to talk about their spirits. They have a great garage door that they open up when it's warmer so it's a great place for happy hour or hanging out on the weekends. There's plenty of seating and they even have some games/pinball machines. There is a small sign that guides you to order at the bar so be sure to head up there to order you drink before finding a table.See more..

We checked out Spring 44 Distilling on a sunny Saturday afternoon. They are open for tours on Saturday afternoons. They have a tiny bar where they you can purchase craft cocktails made from their liquors. I had one using their honey vodka and it was delicious. We also took the tour and it was really informative. Robin, one of the founders was the tour leader and her enthusiasm for the job was evident. And yes, the tour included tasting... first the water that they use, then the actual product itself.See more..

4.0Colorado Gold Distillery(4 reviews) - Awesome, Diverse Distillery Spent < 1 hour Distilleries Stopped in on a whim after driving by on our way up Grand Mesa. Just one employee there, but he gave us the full tour and it was very interesting! They have several types of spirits that they distill - vodka, hemp vodka, agave (blanco and reposado), bourbon, gin, corn whiskey, and brandy - all with locally sourced grain and fruits. There were two of us so we were able to try 8 of their offerings (we didn't try the hemp vodka and lower proof bourbon) and ended up buying some of the blanco agave. Very enjoyable, short experience but would definitely go back next time were in town. Thanks again!See more..

5.0Black Canyon Distillery(3 reviews) - Our New Favorite Distilleries We stopped by Black Canyon on a whim and definitely glad we did. The owner and her grandson were the most pleasant, hospitable, and engaging folks you’ll probably find anywhere. And let’s not forget the prices; drinks are only $6.00 which is lower than you would find at most bars and restaurants. And the selection of whiskeys are even better. If you enjoy visiting distilleries, put this on you radar and I just bet you will go there more than once or even make it a monthly visit.See more..

Anvil Distillery is an award winning locally owned and operated Colorado Company, dedicated to Quality Hand Crafted Spirits, forged from local produce. Anvil is heralded with acclaim not just from the multiple SIP Awards, but the Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival (Gold for Vodka, Silver for Gin), New York International Spirits Competition (Bronze for Gin, Best Gin Distillery in Colorado) and Denver International Spirits Competition (Silver for Vodka, Bronze for Gin). Anvil’s success can be attributed to the care and precision taken during the creation of each small batch spirit. From the purposeful sourcing of the non-GMO white corn from New Mexico, to the malted millet and barley from Colorado Malting Company, the purity of the ingredients matter. The botanicals for the gin are organic, carefully selected so that no chemicals are extracted during distillation. The water, from the St Vrain River right out their back door, is filtered four times. They even start by distilling their own neutral spirits, so that they have control every aspect of the final product. The results are clean, sweet and flavorful, the gin both lively and refreshing on the palette. Peter Grundy, the founder and distiller, shares his perspective on winning so many awards since launching. “Out of all the awards we’ve gotten, the two most important are the Platinum Awards, because it’s consumer based. Real close behind that were Gold and Silver at Breckenridge, against all the other Colorado distillers. It meant a lot. It raised our spirits.”See more..
