    Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary image
I first discovered Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary at a vegan meetup in 2017 and took the leap to be a volunteer. As I've watched, and been a part of their growth, I am constantly impressed with the level of intention, care, professionalism, and love everyone has for every rescued animal. I've learned to become comfortable around large animals, mostly, and have formed friendships with other like-minded people. I brought my students and families on a tour, and one student describes Luvin Arms as, "The clean farm". Come visit and see how peaceful and happy every animal is here. See more..

  15. 4.0 Diana's Pumpkin Patch (5 reviews)
    - Great place for the whole family
    Spent 2-3 hours Farms
    Diana's Pumpkin Patch image
This is a great fall activity for the whole family. They have so much to do and the kids just loved it. The pumpkin patch itself is not huge and is actually stocked with pumpkins not grown in that patch (everyone gets one pumpkin with admission price), but it is the other activities that make it such a fun experience. Start by grabbing your pumpkin (they have free wagons to tote them back to your car), then check out the numerous attractions. They have two tube slides (one big and one for smaller kids), a hay ride, a corn pit for the kids to roll around in, a corn maze, and a water powered rubber duck racing comtraption that the kids loved. They also had a few small goats that were big hits. Everything is included with the price of admission, so you won't get nickel and dimed by every activity. Take the time to make a visit! See more..

    - Happy outing

    Mile High Farms image
I took our 9 yr old triplets and 10 yr old and we all enjoyed this very pleasant outing at Halloween time. They loved the tire swings and burying themselves in the truck filled with corn. I was pleased that the food court had offerings other than hamburgers and hotdogs. The staff was very friendly, as were the animals at the petting zoo! It was a little strange that these funky houses they built were just for show, not for actually going inside, but it did make for cute photos. We will return next year for another visit. See more..

I got one large yellow and 1 large orange pumpkin, my dad got one medium orange pumpkin, and my mom got 1 small yellow and one small orange pumpkin. We have fun at students each year!! I gave this place five stars. See more..

    Happy Apple Farm image
We took a trip to the Happy Apple Farm this week and our family and friends had so much fun. There are so many different types of apples to choose from, different types of pear trees, and a pumpkin patch. Throughout the property, there are props to take photos with as well! The staff is super friendly and encourage you to taste the apples before you fill up your bag to make sure you like each variety. My kids who range from teenager to elementary enjoyed it so much that we plan to come back before the season is over. The owner Tony is absolutely amazing as well and taught my kiddo about his favorite apple he was munching on. Don’t forget to take your hay ride down to the pumpkin patch! All of the pickings were reasonably priced and if you are military, there’s a discount for you! Take your family or go with friends and make this your new friends & family tradition! Thank you, Happy Apple Farm for the hospitality, unique green pumpkin, and delicious fruit! We will be back again soon! See more..
