This was a very nice property. Our room was clean and comfortable. The buffet was WAY overpriced for what they offered however the food was ok. The fact that we did not have hot water in our room for morning showers and our coffee maker did not work was a big bummer. The bigger bummer was the management did not care or even apologize when the situation was nicely brought to their attention upon checkout. We went to Cripple Creek for the ice sculpture event, and didn't want to eat the vendor food. Deciding to go back to the hotel we went to the Wildwood Casino to see if we could get a meal at Joe's Diner. The wait was long which could be expected since there were a lot of people in town that day. I ordered the salmon and mixed vegetables. I chose two servings of the mixed vegetables. I got a very overcooked, dry piece of salmon and only broccoli. I didn't want to complain because the staff were very nice and putting up with a lot of disgruntled people, but if the menu says mixed veg that's what it should be. My sister ordered a steak with asparagus and it came with 2 pieces of asparagus. My daughter seemed pleased with her prime rib and baked potato. This is not a great place for dinner. This is actually a review of the RV PARK, and more specifically, the Park Camp Hosts, Bill and Judy. We checked into the park on 8/25 and checked out on 9/6. We were pleasantly greeted by Bill who helped my husband maneuver our 65' of motor home and trailer into a spot safely. Then we discovered we didn't have a water hose; no problem--Bill to the rescue with a water hose. Then Judy came over with the golf cart and drove me to the casino to check in. Not only that, she showed me around the casino: the restaurants, the sports book, the pool, laundry facilities, etc. Both Bill and Judy are quite the asset to the Resort's RV Park and we sincerely hope they get the kudos they so very much deserve. We truly enjoyed our stay there. They were amazing and by the way, the park was quite nice, clean, and quiet! We didn't spend time in the casino other than doing laundry.See more..

For what ever reason it didn't go through at the end stage. So this hotel is very nice and comfortable. It has a couple places to eat and plenty of games to choose from. It does have tables if you like tables. So the options are there. The area it is in is convenient to other locations and the town of Black Hawk is only a 5 minute drive if that. Old but cute casino. We went in because we saw a daily lunch special for $7.77. Although we didn't end up getting the special, the food was good and reasonable. I had he buffalo wings & fries. Husband and I visited the Midnight Rose Casino 9/13-9/15/2017. We frequent casinos on the east coast and Vegas. Over the years slot machines have gotten tighter. Midnight Rose was a pleasant surprise. I hit quite a few small jackpots. Of course like most slots, if played long enough, they will eventually take it all back. But, being able to hit the occasional jackpot, kept me playing much longer. We were in Cripple Creek for about 3 days and I spent most of my time at the slots in the Midnight Rose.
