Our family of five (two parents, three older teens) visited here yesterday to rent skis and snowshoes and use the trails. Everyone we encountered in the rental shop, starting with our reservation made over the phone several days prior, was super helpful and friendly, including but not limited to Hayden, Sue, and Tripp. They made it so easy for us to switch back and forth between skis, snowshoes, and skis again.:-) The trails were lovely and clearly marked, and we spent a good part of the day enjoying the scenery. Special kudos to the staff for all the extra care they are taking to keep things running safely through the pandemic! (P.S., we learned the hard way, don’t wear too many layers when skiing. You’ll overheat quickly!) See more..

I wish I could remember the gentlemen’s name who helped us out because he was great!!!! We came in with an idea of what we wanted to do and he was super tactful in redirecting us to a different activity that provided us with a phenomenal experience in McCoy Park. The equipment rentals were a decent price but the lift ticket was a bit expensive for only using it to go up and down from the park. Trails were beautiful and well marked. We only saw a couple other people so it gave us an exceptional experience. See more..

We got a groupon for $25 per person which included all the gear plus a full day pass. We spent about 3 hours exploring the trail around the golf course (easy does it). Beautiful homes, Gorgeous views , and easy course. It was pretty much empty. We got there at 9:30 and then ate our picnic lunch at the Cross country center and saw LOTS of people arriving. I would recommend going earlier rather than later. Don't overdress either since you work up quite a sweat!! See more..

    - GREAT PLACE TO HAVE SOME FUN

We tried nordic skiing at the Frisco Nordic center twice, two different days, and it was terrific. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. We don't have a lot of experience but the trails had beautiful scenery, some hills up and down [some very challenging ones that we didn't try], all-in-all some very nice tracks to go on. We didn't try lessons here [we had taken some at Keystone], but judging by the staff we interacted with, the instructors are likely great. We also tried Keystone and it was terrific as well, we would highly recommend both of these places. See more..

Decided to hike this trail with friends when visiting Breckenridge. It is 3 miles out and back made for hiking and biking. There is a small waterfall halfway up and the views on the top are super. Easy to moderate steady walk uphill. Don't miss if you want a nice hike in the area. See more..
