    This is a must do experience if you visit Aspen! My wife is normally scared of heights but absolutely loved the hot air balloon experience. It was a very peaceful and enjoyable experience. Soaring over the valley and seeing the mountain peaks, wildlife, and maneuvering through the terrain of the roaring valley fork was just sensational. We highly recommend Above It All Balloon rides.     I had never been hot-air ballooning before. It was really an enjoyable experience. When the hot air isn't being blasted into the balloon, it's a serene, tranquil feeling. Our pilot, Joe, was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything we were seeing. We were in the air for a little more than an hour (which was enough in my opinion). Upon landing, we were greeted with champagne (which Joe explained is a tradition dating back to the first hot air balloon), OJ, and snacks.     My boyfriend surprised me by proposing right before we went up in the hot air balloon. It was a fantastic day! Gary is wonderful and made the whole event not only special, but memorable. I have a fear of heights, but I felt safe and comfortable on our journey. We had a great time in the air and after landing we were provided a lovely brunch. Gary is an excellent storyteller and we enjoyed learning more about the history of hot air balloons. I have and will continue to recommend Gary and his crew.     After the festival I was able to connect with Pilot Debbi (and support crew Don) for a GREAT flight over Lake Havasu City. Floating over the city was like a dream. And the tailgate party, after the flight, where she gave a history of ballon flying, gave me a greater appreciation of the sport. Not to mention the amazing smoked salmon dip!
