  1. 4.5 Boulder County Farmers Market (139 reviews)
    - The Ultimate Boulder Experience
    Monday: Flea & Street Markets
    Boulder County Farmers Market image
If you want a taste of the real Boulder, go to the Farmers Market. It's a delightful experience, not just a shopping trip, so even if you don't need any fresh produce you've gotta go! Saturday mornings from April through October find all the locals and plenty of visitors walking up and down the one-block length of the market. There's plenty to hear, see, and eat--including a "food court" with delicious, freshly prepared hot dishes, cool drinks, and pastries. Once a month, they add a craft market section, so you can buy art, cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, and more. There are always musicians, too. While you're at the "Farmers," be sure to stop in at the Dushanbe Tea House (in the same block). It's a beautifully hand-carved and painted structure given to Boulder by her sister city in Tajikistan. It's gorgeous and you won't see anything like it in the US! See more..

  5. 4.5 Lafayette Collectibles and Flea Market (27 reviews)
    - Fun Shopping Activity
Monday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Flea & Street Markets
Lafayette Collectibles and Flea Market image
Flea markets and estate sales are my kind of shopping, so when I am in Lafayette, I try to visit the extensive flea market here. I just feel you never know when you are going to find an irresistible treasure. This market has many little stalls that feature different themes--western garb, old post cards, comics, and vinyl. Lots of kitchenware, china, glassware and trinkets. Not ideal for little kids, unless they are patient and well-behaved, but that's always true of shopping excursions. The perusal is the fun of it, and if you make a find, all the better. See more..
  6. 4.0 Golden Farmers Market (15 reviews)
    - Great market!!
    Monday: Flea & Street Markets
    Golden Farmers Market image
This is a very nice market. They have a very good selection of goods offered. Produce, baked goods, frozen bison, woven baskets, hand made lotions and many other vendors. There's a produce vendor that gives you a decent sized plastic bag and allows you to fill it for $10. He had quite the variety to choose from. To name a few: Green beans, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, corn and even herbs. There's a handful of food trucks serving breakfast and lunch. The breakfast crepe was delicious and very reasonable in price. See more..

    Lyons Outdoor Market image
We went to the Sunday market along the Saone River and it was spectacular. The most amazing and plentiful market I’ve ever seen: fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, seafood, pastries, bread, rotisserie chickens, flowers and mush much more. There was a book fair on the same side of the street. And across the river was an outdoor art market. The perfect way to stroll and spend a Sunday morning. See more..

  11. 5.0 Iliff Unique (1 review)
    - Shop here when looking for a deal!
Spent 1-2 hours Flea & Street Markets
This thrift store is owned by the Goodwill industries, but they were allowed to keep their name. A large portion of their proceeds goes towards the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado, so you can feel good when shopping for your thrift store finds! My girls and I spent more than two hours there and came away with a large haul of spring/summer apparel. When I inquired about making a donation, I was told to pull up to the front doors and look for an employee in a bright green vest. When dropping off, you'll receive a tax-deductible receipt as well as a 30% off coupon. I had four bags to donate in the car, but was already checking out and explained that I'd drop off the donation right after checkout and asked if the cashier could give us the discount right away. We live five hours away from this store and she did it! That made this trip the best two hours and $50 spent in all of Denver! See more..
