Amazing! Unique! Beautiful! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. If you really don’t like heights, you might want to stay on the ground and take your pictures from there. Interior stone staircases are easier to tolerate (height wise) than the open mesh wrought iron walkways on the exterior. This is a free location, but I’d say it’s worth a donation while there. I recommend reading about Jim Bishop online before you go, it will help you appreciate more the work he’s done. I think I spent about an hour exploring. There are some nice finds in their little gift shop. See more..

Our second night in the Country (from Australia) grandparents suprised us with a fabulous night at the castle. We started with a tour with one of the awesome guides who was very informative. The history and stories of this place are just truely amazing and interesting and the views are just spectacular. We then spent the night with drinks and snacks in the marquee with some of the best entertainment by Frank Sinatra impersonator (who may we say was one of the best we have ever seen). Fun entertaining evening that we didn't want to end. What a fabulous start to our holiday back to visit family. Such great memories we will always have of this visit. Thankyou Cherokee Ranch See more..

Tour Redstone Castle once again. The Castle underwent a restoration in 2018, and areas of the building that have never been open to the public are now open for viewing. Please view the website for tour tickets and times. The Redstone Castle is a turn-of-the century jewel completed in 1902 for industrialist and coal magnate John Cleveland Osgood. At the time, Osgood was one of the wealthiest people in the United States, purportedly ranking sixth. It is also known as Cleveholm Manor, its original name. The Castle anchors the mountain hamlet of Redstone, in the magnificent Crystal River Valley still dominated by beautiful, wide-open spaces and undisturbed nature. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971, the Castle provides a unique glimpse into the personal styles and social culture of America’s elite at the turn of the 20th Century.
