Last year while vacationing from Virginia, my wife and I visited Alpine Scenic Jeep Tours. The tour that we purchased was a four hour, private tour of Corkscrew Pass and the Red Mountains. It was unbelievable! The Red Mountains were absolutely beautiful. At that time, I remember telling my wife that we would return again some day. Little did I know that we would back again this year! After returning home last year and describing the tour and the sights we saw, we invited a couple of family members to share this year what we had experienced. This year again, we asked for a four hour private tour. Last years tour guide was a great guide. Both fun and informative. This years guide was ‘Rob’. Rob proved to be just as good as last year. If not more! He provided tons of information along the trail. He helped with photo suggestions and helped out with group pics as well. And with Rob’s suggestions, we were even able to visit other areas this year that we missed last year. With Rob as our guide, the tour was not just a vanilla, pre rehearsed presentation. There was something to experience around every corner! We talked about the area, our personal lives and our families. At the end of the day, we had been presented one of the most beautiful areas we had ever seen. We had experienced tons of fun. And we felt like we had made a special friend in Rob.See more..
We have done two different trips with this company and will absolutely come back for more! We highly recommend making time to explore Telluride and surrounding areas with Telluride Offroad Adventures. Herb was our guide both times, and he was so friendly, knowledgeable (we learned a ton of history about the area from him!), and made us feel safe on the shelf road. This is a must do experience if you visit Aspen! My wife is normally scared of heights but absolutely loved the hot air balloon experience. It was a very peaceful and enjoyable experience. Soaring over the valley and seeing the mountain peaks, wildlife, and maneuvering through the terrain of the roaring valley fork was just sensational. We highly recommend Above It All Balloon rides. This was the fourth trip I have taken with Don, and we originally scheduled to go to the Galapagos in 2020, then 2021, both postponed because of COVID and finally it happened this year. This was the most overwhelmingly beautiful trip I have ever taken and Don‘s arrangements for all the details were impeccable. What’s really fun about being with Don is that he gets as excited as we do about all the wildlife and beautiful scenery. He has a wonderful way of being a mentor as well as a companion to all of us. His relationship with our wildlife guide as well as the boat crew on this Galapagos tour was affectionate and respectful, and the opportunities for great photographs were abundant and spectacular. He took the time to make sure everybody had the correct settings, and some folks who had new camera systems were incredibly grateful for his patient help. My husband and I had the awesome pleasure of a sunset hike with Brianna and two of her llamas (Beau and Chinook)! We had the best time learning about llamas and life in Colorado with Brianna. She is a wonderful and considerate guide who went above and beyond to show us a beautiful time. In addition to our trek, she took professional photos of us, showed us around her property, let us meet her other animal friends, and gave us a cute surprise at the end! We took this tour on a whim after planning a visit to the area and learning that sometimes the dunes can treat visitors to unexpected sandstorms. Initially we had envisioned climbing the dunes or sand boarding, however we stumbled upon Mountain Master Off-Road Tours and decide to book the Dunes and Falls Tour. Our tour guide was Kyle, the owner and everyone agreed this was a favorite from our vacation. Kyle went out of his way to make sure everyone in our party was enjoying the tour, and he shared so much history of the area with us. We went on the peach orchard and farm tour offered by the Palisade, CO, Chamber of Commerce to celebrate The Peach Festival. Absolute Prestige Limousine was the wonderful bus that took us to the 5 locations we visited. Absolute Prestige buses were very clean and comfortable. The driver was very good and knowledgable of the area. I would go on any tour they were a part of. We were informed that they also have horse drawn carriages and vans and limousines.
