If you're looking for a place to shop, eat, and drink in Denver, look no further than 16th Street Mall. Opened in 1982, this 1.7-mile pedestrianized stretch is lined with more than 300 stores, restaurants, and bars. But don't worry, you can easily get from one end to the other on a free shuttle bus. When seen from above, the granite tiles resemble a diamondback rattlesnake—a cool design element added by renowned architect I.M. Pei. Check out 16th Street Mall on a city tour of Denver, which often includes a stop here. – Tripadvisor See more..

We loved this little town. It was so unique offering so many restaurants and stores. The stores are all so interesting and offer so many different things. The feel and vibe of this town was awesome. We found a bluesy jazz type band playing out in the back of a restaurant courtyard and just sat there and listened! So much better than a big city. So much stuff to see! We spent 1 and 1/2 hours here and felt we could have come back for more. Many historical artifacts from every period starting in the late 1800's to early 1900's and a little of history all the way up to today. The amount and size of minerals on display was very good along with the dioramas of the local mines. Plan to make multiple trips if you want to get all of it in! See more..

If you love history combined with beautiful buildings, then Georgetown is the place to go. It is like you stepped back 150 years in the historic part of the town. My wife I went in February 2020 and with snow on the mountains, you can't get much better than that. The shops are great and the people are super friendly. We ate at the Happy Cooker which was great. Make sure to visit the old grocery store called Kneisel & Anderson, the owner is so sweet. Being in the store took me back to when I was a kid in Tennessee, right down to the local children coming in to get candy. The owner took time with the little one's on how to count the coins they had and what they could afford to get. We waited for as long as it was going to take for her to teach, which she ends up being a retired school teacher. If you go into her store, buy a tube of Kalles in the blue and yellow tube. It is wonderful on rye crackers with cream cheese with a little smoked salmon. See more..
  7. 5.0 Black Bear Pass (66 reviews)
    - Better pack a lot of snacks with you

This trail is big time consumer! Trust me. It will take some time (unless you have rented Jeep Wrangler) to just reach bottom of trail where are hairpins that you can spot from town centre of Telluride. Sometimes you will need to make room for some off-road car. Anyway if you go by car you still need to leave it somewhere when you continue to the lakes that are couple miles from viewpoint over former power plant at the top of Bridal Veil Falls. I remember that I have spent something like 45 minutes at one rock out there. I can be someone like that character from Assassin's Creed who gets HP by staying at high view points. Anyway once again pack a lot of water and snacks with you because there are no shops or stores and it takes some time to get to one. See more..

My husband and I are so glad we stopped here and took the time to walk the entire site. It let us see both ruins on the Mesa and ruins in the cliffs. Walking close to the walls and peering into the rooms allowed our imaginations to open up and guess what they would be used for. See more..
