Fantastic Family Float
We did a Family Float today and it was fantastic. Allison was my boat’s guide and she was friendly, outgoing, and very knowledgeable about what she was doing. She gave great directions when needed. She also gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The information she gave us about the company - when we asked - makes me recommend them even more. The next time we are ready for a rafting tour, AAE will be the first one we look to. Thanks for an awesome trip!

Amazing first rafting experience.
Me and 3 other friends booked the Numbers Raft+Horseback package. We live 13 hours away and it was worth the drive and money! I was nervous for the white water rafting because I had never been before, but our guide was amazing at making sure we stayed safe and knew what we were doing. Our guides name was Levi and had been guiding for close to 16 years I think he said. He made the experience 100 times more enjoyable and I recommend requesting him if possible. As far as the overall place, everyone there was so nice and also made the experience 100 times better. Could not recommend this place enough. You will not regret. Even with corona going on, they were great about distancing everyone, and keeping everyone safe. As far as the horseback riding, I also recommend highly, but that is a separate company they collaborate with so I will leave my review on their page.

Book it! Full day rafting!
We booked the full day Brown’s Canyon raft trip and it was fantastic! Our family included 3 teenagers (19, 17, 15). Our guide and captain was Julian and he did a tremendous job! We loved the whole experience. The bus ride to the load zone includes lots of safety info. Listen to it all! This trip is lots of fun and has relaxing floating areas but it is also filled with some tremendously challenging and dangerous rapids! Julian did a great job navigating and keeping us informed of both his strategy and what he would need from us. The tour keeps 4-5 rafts together for the trip and it’s purposeful - because if a raft tips over (as the raft in front of us did) the other guides and participants are right there to lend a needed hand and get them back into their raft and back on track. I didn’t expect it at all but the whole fleet handled the incident really well! Other suggestions: wear lots of sunscreen, enjoy the beautiful sights and the adventure! Catch an early dinner at Eddyline Restaurant on S Main before you leave town. Thank you “King Julian” and everyone at AAE for a great day!
