    - Awesome State Park
Spent More than 3 hours State Parks • Parks
Fall Creek Falls State Park image
This park has so many things to do. It's one of the few TN state parks that has kept its swimming pool after covid shut downs. We enjoyed swimming there and at the base of Cane Creek Cascades. The nature center was very interesting and the visitor center had many souvenir items to choose from. Our 8 year old enjoyed 2 really nice playgrounds and we all enjoyed a picnic at the Falls overlook. We had dinner at the lodge restaurant that was superb. We had a great view of the lake and a beautiful sunset from our table. Although we arrived by 10am, we ran out of time to try a hike or do some fishing. Guess we'll just have to go back. As we drove out of the park at dusk, we came upon 3 deer playing in the road, oblivious to traffic or the need to move, so drive this park with caution for wildlife. One could easily spend a week here and not be bored. See more..
