Lovely afternoon of golf in the country

This park is great for family activity, and has nearly 19 miles of hiking trails. The inn, modern cabins and restaurant provide excellent amenities to visitors, and the nearby lakes provide great opportunity for boating, swimming, and fishing. There is also a conference center that can fit up to 500 people. More information on this park and many more can be found at the TN State Parks website.

    A Park with Everything
This is a great Park for day trips or longer vacations. It has hiking and Mountain biking trails. Three lakes for fishing and Acorn Lake has a nice sand beach for swimming. The camping has spaces available for tent and RV hookups next to a playground and hiking trails. Say hi to Rangers Eric and Tim, they are friendly and I'll ó I loop to l ppl mip helpful.

    Huge state park
We were here during the Corona virus pandemic - stranded due to a vehicle breakdown. The dealership gave us a loaner, and having worked in state parks our entire career we visited this park. We enjoyed the church and restored cabin. This park was built by the CCC during the depression and park staff have done an admirable job maintaining a very complex and sprawling park. So many cabins in the group camping area! I can't imagine the amount of work keeping this all in the shape that it is.
