Spent More than 3 hours State Parks • Nature & Wildlife Areas
This park is great for family activity, and has nearly 19 miles of hiking trails. The inn, modern cabins and restaurant provide excellent amenities to visitors, and the nearby lakes provide great opportunity for boating, swimming, and fishing. There is also a conference center that can fit up to 500 people. More information on this park and many more can be found at the TN State Parks website. See more..

Golf Courses
This course was in the center of the iron industry and there are still some smelter furnaces around. I thought there was a lot of variation between the holes. Since this was our first time playing this course we were luckily paired up with a regular who gave us the lines of the tee. There were several holes where I would have easily get in trouble on the wrong line. There are lots of elevation change which was done very well. The greens were large and rolled well. They had a lot of subtle breaks and some fairly significant breaks especially down off of the greens. The bunkers were very well placed to give you an idea where to hit. However, the practice green was very sloped and I found it hard to play well. The driving range was hit downhill so I could not see where the balls landed. See more..
