    The Caverns image
The Caverns is a very unique venue. Not only do you pick a concert to enjoy, but you get to enjoy it inside a cave. It was so fun. We also purchased tickets for a cave tour which we plan on enjoying when the weather warms up in the spring. The location is out in rural countryside which allows you to also enjoy the local farmland. It is a short drive to the top of Monteagle mountain where you have several restaurants, hotels and numerous fun hiking spots in the Covenant College area. You could easily enjoy a couple of days in the area or pack a tight one day trip. See more..

  4. 4.5 Germantown Performing Arts Center (39 reviews)
    - One of the best venues in Memphis for concerts and performances
Spent 1-2 hours Concerts • Theatre & Performances
    Germantown Performing Arts Center image
I have season tickets to most of the venues in Memphis...the Orpheum, Live at the Gardens, etc., but I truely believe that the GPAC is the best place in Memphis to attend concerts and performances. Why? First of all, the facility is small/Medium. It seats 824 people in VERY comfortable, wide, cushioned seats. The acoustics are optimal for a concert hall. Parking is sufficient right out front of the facility, and the area is in a very safe, secure suburb of Memphis. The facility is well kept up by the staff and there are lots of attendants to facilitate a smooth operation during events. They have maybe 100 shows a year in their season ticket subscription but you only have to buy the shows you want to see or buy a catagory like Jazz/R&B or country, etc. See more..

  11. 4.5 Music Row (4 reviews)
    - Great, Home-Grown, Bluegrass Music
    Theatre & Performances
Several times a week, the residents in the Maryville area get together at Music Row for an evening of home-grown music. Groups of musicians and singers gather in the various rooms for impromptu jam sessions. Visitors move from room to room to sample the different sounds. You will be amazed at the quality of the music. There must be something in the water down there. Once a month they have a "stage night" where the groups present their material in a concert format. Check the web site for more info. Admission is $3 pp. For an additional $6, you can get a 3-course dinner (plus cornbread) prepared in the cafeteria by Miss Cathy. She typically has several entrees and sides to pick from. That's a whole evening of good food and great music for $9. Now, that's a bargain. See more..

    Historic Loudon Theater image
I don't "do reviews". But the past two Saturday nights have been the most fun this 50-something couple have had in years. Yup. The Historic Loudon Theater The music is top notch, and every face is smiling and having a great time. Food? Got it. BYO drinks? Fine, Dancing? plenty of room. After each performance it takes a couple of days to stop talking about it. Check out Second Wind. Wow. See a performace by Lady Gray Lancaster. What Talent! Ducktown Mission can belt out the oldies pretty good too. Actually, they only schedule the best stuff here it seems. So that's it. We just call the theater directly (phone # is on website and facebook) and tell them how many seats we need. We are thrilled that we have found a place where adults can have so much fun and meet like-minded folks. aem See more..
