  2. 4.5 Germantown Performing Arts Center (39 reviews)
    - One of the best venues in Memphis for concerts and performances
Spent 1-2 hours Concerts • Theatre & Performances

I have season tickets to most of the venues in Memphis...the Orpheum, Live at the Gardens, etc., but I truely believe that the GPAC is the best place in Memphis to attend concerts and performances. Why? First of all, the facility is small/Medium. It seats 824 people in VERY comfortable, wide, cushioned seats. The acoustics are optimal for a concert hall. Parking is sufficient right out front of the facility, and the area is in a very safe, secure suburb of Memphis. The facility is well kept up by the staff and there are lots of attendants to facilitate a smooth operation during events. They have maybe 100 shows a year in their season ticket subscription but you only have to buy the shows you want to see or buy a catagory like Jazz/R&B or country, etc. See more..
