Amazed during our RV camp trip! Great even if you are just visiting!
We just arrived home from the campground. First, let me say, these were the nicest rangers I’ve encountered. Very professional, helpful and even active educational. I watched as young girls were introduced to the ranger’s corn snake. One ran, the other ended up holding it. The one that at first ran, eventually came back and overcome her fears. These rangers are making life altering events for the children… adults too! The campground is very nice, with large trees and nice spacing. The park is beautiful. You arrive to a field of breathtaking wildflowers. Next, you cross two picturesque streams of water. There are gorgeous old oaks, hickories and poplars. It is hilly. The swimming area was really nice. Family and handicap friendly. The only drawback, if I had to pick, would be that our RV campsite living space was backwards. I only saw 2 sites that way, 21 and 22. After we got use to it, we did fine. It does throw you when the door is on the passenger side and table and pit are on the driver’s side. Not bad though. Thank you TSP!!! P.S. y’all know that site (21) could EASILY be a pull through and not have to move anything but the grill. It would put the living space on the correct side. It would also free up 22 to swap that living space as well. IMO.

    Great Park To visit.
Stayed overnight Feb 3-4 in Spring Creem primitive site. Campground was clean & neat. Plenty down wood for fire. Toured the main campground & found it the same. I will stay @ Mousetail Landing State Park again in the future. Park Rangers were very nice, friendly & courteous. I highly reccomnd This Park.
